I'm 27 and I've been a Spurs fan since I was 9. I had a Tim Duncan Wake Forester card and watched the Spurs play one night. I've been a die hard fan ever since. I've witnessed every championship, all the disappointments(Ray Allen's 3, losing to the 8th seed Grizzlies in 2011) Without Tim I wouldn't be into basketball like I am today. He's brought a lot joy into my life, I'm sad to see him leave the game. For me watching basketball will never be the same. Not even going to lie, I cried watching this.
Best power forward ever ... Pacers fan here but I'm sad cuz I love basketball .. And he made so many memories and was a class act ... Sad time for basketball fans ... God bless the big fundamental and old man river walk ... Salute 😔
Chris Hunter what most bball fans fail to realize and its really sad is pop subbed out timmy that last minute. Causing them to go small and have no defensive rebounding interior.
Beautiful tribute, I saw Duncan play on TV, my first NBA game cause at the time I wasn't interested in basketball, it was Timmy and the Spurs and I was 17 years old, I'm now 35 and he is the whole reason I like basketball and why the Spurs is my team. I'm very sad to see him go but it has to happen eventually and at the same time it makes me and probably some of us realize that "oh shit we're getting old ourselves". Thanks to Tim Duncan for the awesome basketball that he played. Almost cried watching this tribute.
A King who once ruled his Kingdom and later on built a Dynasty has gone quietly into the sunset without any fanfare that he deserves. Thanks for the memories Timmy! Humble and Simple man. Thanks for the memories. From now on, the game will never ever be the same.
Duncan will forever stand for the highest performance combined with the complete absence of drama. Just cannot find that anymore nowadays. You will be missed Timmy.
Inhuman level of consistency and honestly I can't find the right words to decribe for just how long he's been a productive NBA player. A superstar for 13 years. A star for 4 years and a really good role players for the last 2 years.
We're all sad to see Tim Retire like this. But, We should all be exited on the future and thankfull that we had the Greatest PF ever. Be Thankful that Tim allowed the SPURS to rebuild unlike Kobe 😁👊😶 Just like D.Robinson left us in Great hands with Tim Duncan. Duncan leaves us in Great hands with a stacked Team Pau LaMarcus Kawhi D.Green T.Parker And a young Bench Dewayne Dedmon D.Lee Livio Jean Charles Davis Bertans Kyle Anderson Manu Ginobili Jonathan Simmons Dejauntee Murray P.Mills Reserves : Ryan Arciadocono, Ryan Richard's, Patricio Garino, Nicholas Laprovittola T.Duncan gave us 19 Great years n 5 🏆 he will be missed on the Court.
Knowing the game of basketball as well as I do, being from San Antonio, watching Timmy play in real life many times, no one I seen play the game of basketball like Tim did. He was literally 3,4,5 steps ahead of everyone on the court, every game night, for 19 years straight.. it's hard to find words to describe his game.. Jordan and Duncan, in my opinion, are the two best basketball players in history. Both sides of the ball.. . watching this man play and understanding his play, he's a true genius of the sport.
I'll admit it, i teared up. I was born and raised in San Antonio. Tim Duncan was drafted when i was 5 years old, he's all i know. Thank you, Timmy. Enjoy the next chapter, brother.
This is easily the BEST Tim Duncan video I've ever seen. It truly encapsulated his entire career, far better than anything any local or national media outlet has ever put out. This should be played at his jersey retirement ceremony. Job well done.
More than the basketball achievements, more than the accolades and the awards, it was Tim Duncan’s approach to everything he did that made me look up to him. He epitomizes character, humility, professionalism, and excellence in everything he does. I am a better person for asking myself, each and every time I encounter a challenge or a problem, "What would Tim Duncan do?”
What I like about the video is clips show highlights from every year in Tim Duncan's career even when he wasn't as dominant but still very effective. The title couldn't be more true, so humbled to have watched Duncan play! SA Loves you Timmy
Tim was the last piece of fabric that kept the memories of era relevant (sean, cummings, willie anderson, the brick, hot rod). Thanks for making years of championship dreams become a reality.
If we had 2 superteams competing for the nba title in their prime. NBA elite stars of the 1970s vs 1980s. The top 15 nba super men born in the 1970s would topple the top 15 nba superstars born in the 1980s. Dont you worry about that. With Timmy Duncan being one of the leaders on your team you must feel very confident of winning. Love this great man. First ballot NBA HOF. Thankyou and goodbye my dear friend.
Wow! I'm tearing up watching this. Fantastic work Max. You encompassed my childhood to adulthood in this video about my favorite basketball player ever. Thank you for making this.
The greatest power forward to ever play the game. The ever humble and classy TD. Thank you "The Big Fundamental", the Spurs and the NBA will never be the same.
I’m 29 now, my generation of players I grew up watching are long gone from the league. I grew up a lakers faithful, but my respect for Tim Duncan and how he led his Spurs was just a joy to watch. They don’t make them like they used to ! Long Live the greatest power forward of all time!
As close as anyone is going to get to a tribute that does Tim justice. Thank you for the time and effort put into this, it's exactly what I was hoping to find and I'll be re-watching for years to come.
My friend and I used to call him a psychopath(in good fashion) because he didn't like to lose a game of basketball and his almost no words... I still can't believe I won't see him in the court again...😭😭😭😭... #GoSpursGo
I got to go to a Spurs game this year, thunder/Spurs game 1, when the Spurs destroyed them. So glad I have that last experience of Duncan's Spurs. The AT&T center was going crazy
A hard worker, poised, had a calm nature, great teammate. Smart, unselfish, consistent, patient, dominant. Fundamentally sound, one of the greatest big guys the NBA has ever seen. and humble about it all. A timeless player.
I've never cared about someone so much, without ever meeting them in person. Tim Duncan played my favorite sport, but did it to where I didn't understand how he was so great. He was the best, Tim Duncan.
Dude, what a video. The song choice was killer. I've watched quite a few since the announcement and this one is by far the best. Shows all facets of his game, the passion, the humility. Well done.
The greatest PF to ever play the game did it so humble all he did was win and knew when to give up the team even though we all knew it was still Duncan's team as long as he was there!!! The last 19 years of my life I've cried been mad been happy and it was truly an honor to be able to watch greatest in person!!!! Re2pec1
Thanks Tim for spoiling Spurs fans for the last 19 years!! Me and my wife's first date was game 2 of the 1999 NBA first round! 15 years of marriage, two kids, a dog, a cat, and a couple of fish later! Thank you for saving our franchise, just like Ice and the Admiral before you! Thanks for not signing with the Magic! Thanks for bringing our city together every April, May and June! Thanks for all of it Tim! GO SPURS GO
Wow!!!! Maybe its just me, But I will miss Tim. He is such a Gentle Giant. Things are Changing So much in the Nba. So Much Class. Never About Self Aways About Team. Thank You Tim. Always Will Remember You And The Way You Carried yourself on an off the court.

+Chris Hunter should've been 3-0
+Dee Yeah your right, if Ray Allen doesn't make that corner 3 we win the finals in 2013.
Chris Hunter what most bball fans fail to realize and its really sad is pop subbed out timmy that last minute. Causing them to go small and have no defensive rebounding interior.
One of the 10 greatest basketball players of all time. He had amazing skills and more importantly amazing character.
Beautiful tribute, I saw Duncan play on TV, my first NBA game cause at the time I wasn't interested in basketball, it was Timmy and the Spurs and I was 17 years old, I'm now 35 and he is the whole reason I like basketball and why the Spurs is my team. Every single move he makes, just looks so beautiful and fluid, not flashy, yet methodical and smooth.
