Im going to make these today. It's really hard to find chefs that share their recipes for home cooks who are used to actual Southern cooking. I need some more practice. They didn't rise as well as I expected during the first phase (I covered them at first and noticed no rising, uncovered and they rose). Went smoothly from there, though by that final 25 rise they weren't rising as much as I'd of liked. I suspect I used too little yeast and too little sugar.
@@CharlieTheCookAndrewsthe neighbors loved em though! I'll make more tomorrow with extra yeast and sugar to see if it makes them fluffier than the first batch.
