Hey...New subscriber here...Watching videos like this bring back so many memories...In my day my hunt area was western West Virginia along the Kanawha River...Mason county to Point Pleasant...We made picnic's and hunted...Kid's are all grown now and over the year's age and bad lungs have denied me of doing this that I loved so much...but...I showing videos like this to my adult kids and my grand children lately and I do believe I have lit a fire under them once again...I can't do the walking but they can while I do the picnicking...lol...thanks to all the artifact hunters out there that share their videos and show the love for the sport...p.s...that's a wrong trick to play on someone with a Clovis...lololol...carry on...

I hunted nc arrow heads for about five years and ended up with about a hundred really nice ones. Can't find many places that will let you walk the field's anymore.
That last blade kyle found at the end is a paleo clovis culture blade with a flute on one side...KILLER FIND(not talking about the faker carved clovis either lol)
You definitely were on them! Bunch of great finds. That drill was way longer than I expected to see come out! That is a heck of a piece. Super fine quality side notcher as well! Love those Buck Creeks too! Thanks for sharing!
Great finds! Have y’all found arrowheads made out of kanawha black chert? It comes come central Wv and can be found all down kanawha river into Ohio. It’s like a black rough texture chert

Thanks Mike! My first concern was to put it somewhere where he'd see it and not walk completely around it. Had to stand off to his side and kind of guide him towards it lol that would have been funny though.

The drill might be a personal best for length / thinness, i've only found one other T drill in the past, a few smaller pencil drills. Joel has found some nice quality drills though.

You 3 did very well! The first drill is my favorite of this video, but the large blades, Hopewell, Big Sandy (?), and others were all very nice. The point at 12:15, although crude and waterworn, appears to have a Paleo shape to me. Some of the blades looked like Adena leaf blades. Good going!

I checked the pedometer at the end of the day and it was actually closer to 13 miles! We walked another 6 miles or so 2 days later! Thanks John!

I found a point like that one on the North side of the Altamaha River many years ago but mine is uniface.

I don't think we have, We watch Seneca Relics videos and they find a lot made from Kanawha black chert, but I think we are just too far south.
