  • The history of city planning is one of many crazy ideas and concepts. What aspects make a city attractive? Why did Modernism both succeed and fail? What constitute a living street?
And what was up with the plan of building a capital city in the shape of a Rhino in South Sudan?

A lot, if not all cities, would be massively improved if the automotive traffic was in tunnels under the ground. Anyone who has been to New York City knows how loud and stressful it is because of the noise and the cars. It's even worse if you're a driver. Imagine if all the driving was done underground. The city would be quiet, and every street could be turned into walkable green space.

Problem is when government have taxpayers money they spend it like it going out of fashion but it's always never in the interest of the taxpayer we need better leaders and better designers.
