Imagine right before going unconscious, the last thing you hear is
“Take ‘em to the fridge!”
For me one of my favorite parts of the borderlands series is the music.
It has an old Western meats mad Max kind of vibe.
at this point im convinced that the windows watermark is part of your channel identity
Gameplay wise Borderlands 2 (And maybe 3 even though its story was utter garbage) has been my favorite. But environmentally and story wise Borderlands 1 is my favorite. After all its the game that got me in the franchise when it came out. It has always had such a gritty atmosphere that I loved. In every game after Borderlands 1 'Vault hunters' are revered by almost everyone as a sort of model for adventure and treasure, but in Borderlands 1 you were just another scumbag looking for a rumored treasure on a desolate planet full of abandoned corporate fodder turned mad and the corporations that abandoned them looking to advance there research at the expense of everything else. You are a vault hunter. Just another tramp in search of a legend that doesn't exist as far as most people are concerned, so what makes you so different than all the other 'vault hunters' that came and died before you? Its a feeling that really nailed the desolate wasteland feeling in Borderlands 1 for me. People USED you while you were looking for the key pieces because they saw your need for information as something they could exploit for work. And in the end why should it be surprising the vault wasn't full of treasure? You are nothing but an asset to everyone on a planet of monsters.
Also the music composition is wonderful across every single game but borderlands 1 (again) had a more 'gritty' and almost tribal like ruggedness sound to it. Soundtrack such as Firestone, Skag gully high action, Bring your guns etc just applauded the feeling of the game overall. I do love allot of the remixed tracks in Borderlands 2 as well. the bring your guns remix they made for the highlands was spot on.
I always assumed the dead blackened trees were planted by settlers, kind of similar to when people try to plant palm trees in a place that’s too cold
Pandora has such an ambience. I think that's the reason Borderlands 2 is the "go to" game I play whenever I need a little escape from my personal shit. Thanks for this content! Thumbs up from Brazil
Videos like this remind me of why i love this series and the amazing world it is set in. I hope in the future they remaster the games so more people can experience this amazing world. Keep up the good work mate!😊
This is your best video imo, I've never been able to put into words why I adore Pandora so much and here you've explained it in brilliant detail. Props to u mate
Thank you I really appreciate it!
Pros: Eridium and junk left over by Dahl and Hyperion and Wildlife can be tamed and weaponized and shit loads of Eridian tech
Cons: Everyone is batshit insane, Extremely dangerous wildlife, Hellish environment, lack of food and also The Destroyer
If I would live there, I would probably be random female Sancturary Citizen #23
I would 100% be Sir Christopher Face Mcshooty, he's my spirit animal
You're my favorite borderlands lore youtuber now
The biggest inspiration for Pandora was actually Birmingham
I could imagine they recorded some of the psychos voice lines on a random bus station near Dudley
@@LFXGamingLFXGaming confirmed in Borderlands 2 then oh my god??
looks more like space australia
You know going with the opening quote it would be so cool to do one of those 24 hour vr type videos but in borderlands 2. I would pay to see that.
I would have to be part of the zafford clan. always loved the highlands
you would probably be impaled by stalkers tho
if the big crack of erideam on pandora is not called "pandora's scar" (basic but fitting name)
i'm going to be sad. (not really)
The only thing that I don't consider twisted-ly beautiful in the world of Pandora are those damn Scythids. As much as I'm begrudgingly going through BL1's jankiness for the sake of going further into the playthroughs and to invest more time into it as I do 2 and TPS, I certainly don't miss seeing them again. I call them "STD creatures" for a reason and their sound makes me feel nauseous.
Amazing work I’m a huge fan :3
I clicked this thinking it was talking about the other Pandora.
The one from avatar? 😅
me too lmao
