Toby was an awesome artist. I was not a country fan but my dad was. Toby and Reba became 2 of the only country singers I listened to. Heartbreaking that Toby is gone now. I saw some of his performances before he passed and I was so happy. I thought he had this cancer beat. What a fun and brilliant artist. Rip Toby!!!! Great video. Keep it up.

I had the immense privilege and pleasure of meeting up with Toby on more than one occasion as we both traveled to see veterans and soldiers. I had a two-legged dog, he had his star-spangled guitar. What a giant! What a hero. I can't say enough. I gave him a tribute in my most recent novel; but you know it will never be enough to say thank you!! God bless this man.

I grew up, listening to everything from classical to really rough rap but now I see it’s not everybody’s experience, I’m glad people are finding it
My personal favorite country guys were Toby, Trailer Choir (who Toby signed to his label), Buddy Brown, Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins… If you want more of the amusing style start with Rockin the Beer Gut by Trailer Choir. They are a blast!
Proper bar etiquette is that if you spill somone's drink you HAVE to offer drinks in return.. 2 20 dollar pitchers would have done that out of towner just fine :)

I’m old now, and decades past my bar days, so I don’t know if there still are those great old bars who put up chicken wire to protect the bands. They had to because customers displeased with the band would just launch beer bottles at them. Those were some great bars. Try to find one, you won’t be disappointed.

Willie Nelson is 90 years old this year. Old, very well known, country artist who is still performing. The song is hilarious.
I learned the “two-step” while dancing to “Neon Moon”… In fact, that song made me an instant country music fan… Bought tickets and went to a Brooks and Dunn concert in So Cal… Outdoor venue…with a FULL moon the night of the concert…🌕💛🎶

I love these kinds of bars. They are hard to find these days with sports bars dominating the market, but they can be a great place to hang out.
