The dive bars are the best. From LA, where I'm from, to the states I have have visited, to where I live now in Colorado are the best. There's just nothing like going to your neighborhood bar and hanging out and having a few beers. Sure, a fight may break out here or there, but mostly it's just locals that enjoy a good time away from home. You gotta spend a week or two at the same bar to have a small understanding of it. Move to Florida or Texas... it doesn't matter. Dive bars are in every state and in every town. Find one and enjoy:)

As a native New Yorker who moved to Florida a few years ago, I can say with certainty that NY is not great anymore. I never thought I would ever move to Florida due to the heat and my love of the Fall cool weather, but I do not regret leaving. You know NYC is expensive when it is cheaper for to live in Florida and fly up to NYC about once a month than live there. I fly in and leave a couple days later. I do not know if you know that Toby has been fighting cancer since 2020 or 2021.
