Players in today's NBA are weak minded. They don't want to earn the points or the championship. They want it given to them via the easiest possible way. They team up with their buddies that they think can get them an easy route to win. Soft ass era. NBA rule changes are also to blame. Bring back the hand checking. Bring back the physicality. Tell the players they have to earn the points. Tell them They have to fight for the buckets. Players today will go right to their players association and cry that the "game" is too hard. Weak ass era. If the league doesn't change the rules to make it challenging to score the baskets, viewership is going to keep dropping. NEVER liked his game altho he was great shooter but I appreciated what he did against the Kincks in what was like 90 seconds or some shit in that ECF(?) to knock them out to go to the Finals...and LOSE!! Lolol. That spurt against the Knicks, tho, was special, even if he did getaway with a foul (push?), just like he did against Mike in the previous round (shove? Its fuzzy) , I THINK! May not be completely accurate in the timelines but still. Oh, I also highly disliked Ewing and his delusional ass but he was a great player even when he did his patented "Travel Hook" across the lane 🤣🤣🤣
I remember Reggie Miller saying he regretted doing that for Jordan because all it did was make him better
Summer league is so much one on one game. Jordan could have made millions in a summer league organized by himself.
"They built Michael Jordan a f***ing dome"
I wish some of these younger nba players understood this part
Its the half assed generation of clout, excess & bling. Kobe was the most recent jordan-esque player in terms of his intensity, moves etc.

Players play in the off-season every summer like this...how else do you think they improve from year to year 🤦🏿♂️.
Btw, this was at a time when MJ was trying to get back in playing shape after his 1st retirement so he was doing nothing any other player would've been doing if they had those resources and were also trying to get back into the rhythm of playing at that level.
Mike was A Mastermind..👍
Rodman, the ultimate party boy, in the middle of his vacation was overthere playing with Mike! MJ work ethic is contagius
And then the next season my team won 72 games. I was at a game the next season in March of '96 in Chicago against the Pistons. Mike had 53 points in that game which was the most he ever scored in the United Center which was in its second season after construction.
And Scottie say they never played a 1 on 1… MJ so competitive I believed he begged Scottie to play…💯
Jordan probably bet him every time lol
His Airness 🏀 👑. Those were the days!!!
God bless the men and women who designed the concord 11s
Tinker says "you're welcome"
Mj was a part of my life growing up in the 90s.
Same here, grew up with MJ posters covering every inch of my walls. I attempted to wait in line for his shoes three times and only managed to snag a pair of his low tops once. Nowadays everyone has them even food stampers.
Michael’s ball handling is just so crazy man
Jack Haley, you can always see him on the Bull's bench super excited and pumped when Mike scored. He was Jordan's biggest fan and got paid to watch him.
))))))))))))
Maybe he was just pumped because he was paid to sit on a bench.
I recognise him too! He's always the guy in the suit!
@@wongho1 he actually was a player as well. Just not a lot of playing.
I thank GOD Mike never got hurt: he played ALL THE TIME, EVERYWHERE!
He missed most of his second year with a broken foot
@@daviddee7103 yes.
He played a lot of pickup games EVERYWHERE he literally played at parks all around the city here in Chicago, he had a clause in his contract to freely do that: it would have REALLY BEEN BAD had he gotten hurt on one of these random courts.
He broke his foot the winter of 86 was out a few weeks that came out in the playoffs and scored 63 in the Garden against the Celtics .Check it out its on you tube .IT WAS ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON.I WAS 20.take care and be safe🙏😎
Just like Space Jam...he stole their talents😂
Above the rim.
I have all of these vhs videos in my TV cabinet. These videos were frigging awesome. Didn't see many videos for other teams in the nba, the bulls in the 90s truly were UNSTOPPABulls... ps that's another video documenting the 72 and 10 season btw ✌
I play some basketball in my days....But if I were to play with those guys, it would be like what Nick Fury of Shields say to Loki...' Ant....BOOT ' !!! ...Yep, I'd be an 'ant ' for sure, lol
I was a hardcore Laker fan back then. It was great that Jordan asked Cedric Ceballos to ball with him. It was recognition of Cedric’s ability!!!
93 was MJ's most prime year of his career. He was just flawless that year.
I, personally think that the '92 season was his ultimate peak: the perfect blend of his youthful, insane athleticism of the late 80s, and his refined basketball skills as a player.
For me I would say 91, he was otherworldly. Insane athleticism with a refinement to his game I hadn't seen before.
For me I would say 90 season
LeBron fans trying to make him the GOAT have never seen all the insane video clips of him in his prime and behind the scenes. LeBron was NEVER at Jordan's level. He was great compared to everyone around him, but compared to what Jordan could do on the court without flopping and crying to the refs, there's just no way. LeBron isn't even at Wilt's level.
LeBron would have been barely in the top 10 in that era, and won zero championships unless he played alongside already elite players and took a salary cut. The Jazz probably the only chance he would have had.
I wonder how long did they talk about hose 11’s
When they saw them on his feet. 😳WTF!!!!!
I’m sure that was the 1st place another NBA Player besides MJ had ever seen them.
Jordan wore the XIs in the 1995 playoffs (when they were eliminated by the Magic). This was before Space Jam was shot.
@@nerdming WRONG!!!!
Did you even watch the video?
It clearly said in the video. While shooting a movie in L.A. there was a dome built for……..
And which movie do you think was being filmed?
Yes Jordan returned in ‘95 and Space Jam the actual movie was released in ‘95.
So if released in 95’…..when was the movie shot?💯
@@iamteamyou If you know anything about the history of the game you are completely wrong. This movie was shot in 1995 and released in 1996. These games took place after Jordan was eliminated and humiliated by the Magic in 1995 and he used this opportunity to get back into basketball shape. Go watch the Last Dance if you don’t believe me.
@@nerdming where do you think they are playing on this video?
You must be a troll or can’t hear?
@@iamteamyou in LA (in a temporary dome built on a Hollywood studio lot) during the off-season after they were eliminated by the Magic. Yeah I’ll keep throwing facts at you.
Reggie and Jordan...got in eachother s faces hard on national tv....Reggie s game was weird...but he could ball....
Way better than current nba joke culture
That rando pick up game beats the current NBA All Star teams
Not that anyone cares but,
I grew up in northridge ca,
And for some reason I was able to get wgn which was a local Chicago network.
It was there that I first saw MJ and the Chicago bulls.
I was able to watch every game from 1986 until I eventually moved and then the games were more televised. I fell in love with basketball because of Jordan. I watched every playoff game and most teams. Then I got to watch Kobe…
Lucky kid I guess.
THE GOAT HE WAS DOING THE WALK AWAY AFTER THE SHOT AS WELL 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Isn't this just a clip from the doc "Michael Jordan's playground"?
Young Tim Grover!
Everyone was young. Good ol days
The thing that separated MJ from everyone else was the natural Grace of God that was on him to play Basketball…. Just look at his movements pure Grace and artistry!!! The Greatest of All Time…..
Look at the shoes he's playing in!!
It was build for him....
This is when Jordan was filming Space Jam. Bill Bellamy tells a story about this on his channel.
I think so too. Also, I think this is from his documentary titled "above and beyond"
wrong. this is when Jordan wasn't filming Space Jam
Pay attention modern day floppers. Leflop Bitch Wade Chris Paul etc... This is real basket ball
00:41 that pose was dope ...
I know I sound like an old man and I am. Damn I miss the 70's through the 90's NBA. It was must see TV. Jordan the Greatest of all time!!!
Old School 👍❤
My sister-in-law worked on the Warner lot when they constructed that gym in the parking lot when MJ shot Space Jam. Of course it was off limits to everyone except those invited to be there.
Nobody wants a challenge as much as the GOAT JORDAN wants.. his heart, mind matched his talent level. Nobody since has come close.
Reggie said there are weights on one side like he was worried about lifting weights 🤔😂
How many bets do you think Jordan made during these pick up games?
Meanwhile Giannis is too good to train with his fellow nba mates he was saying "WHY? Why should I play with them?" UUh I dunno maybe to get some more moves
And for those that didn't come through, Jordan took that personally.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep, he beat them and the people who showed up just the same. 😆🤣😂
1st time watching Jordan when he hung 63 on Boston Me and my wife were on our way to a family birthday party. We were late..
The thing that made Jordan so special from the rest of NBA players was he took it personally.
MJ pulling a Batman, and using the pickup game to create contingency plans for all his arch-enemies.
I miss the old league in general. I mean today's basketball issssl, well its self explanatory with the two USA exhibition game loses lol
Today’s players are more talented than they’ve ever been. That’s what it explains
With no defense but I respect your opinion lol
Jack Haley was cheerleading even in summer pickups games....
Here's a thought🤔...someone with the savvy skill set should put together a clip of what LBJ did while shooting the reboot of the goat's movie and show comparison of the 2 and watch ppl react n reply to it in the comments. Bonus thought: if there had been a bubble moment like last year, old school players would've just locked in and really grinded for the chip opportunity and not complain about how athletes are suffering from the way things were set up due to the pandemic. They probably hit the blunt or get they Lil sip sip and get after it, understand'n the chance like this might not be this easy or whatever and work instead of fuss. Bcuz it seems that ol skool folk get that it's about the grind not excuses...🤨opinions?
This is the most stupid comment I've ever seen lmao. Do you even realize you're on the internet, old man?
I'd love to see that

It's boring to watch a game where scoring baskets each time up the court is the norm.
MJ acted like some nice wholesome guy but was an intense maniac when it came to competing. NBA knew how to dress and present him as household entertainment.
