This was helpful. I have one more query. My lineweights are seen good in model space. But as soon as we go into 'layout' , all the lineweights are seen very big(thick) so much so that I am unable to see the drawing. Please help.
On the command line in AutoCAD, type LWDISPLAY and set the value to OFF (or 0). Alternatively, use the Show/Hide Lineweight button that can be added to the status bar.

I'm unable to restore all the menus even after restarting and opening new file !!!
