Lan Zhan's haunted whisper of "Wei Ying, come back" is absolutely devastating here. Look at his eyes. There is pure fear and terror in them. The way his voice trembles. He knows what is going to happen next. He knows what Wei Ying is going to do. He knows he is going to lose the man he loves forever. Somewhere, deep down he knows he has already lost him...there is so much distance between them, both literally and metaphorically because of all that happened. But, in one last attempt to get his Wei Ying back...he begs him to come back. Of course, Lan Zhan's painful scream at 9:33 is devastating, but...for me, it's the whisper before that totally kills me. It's a voice of shame, defeat, self-loathing and fear all rolled into one. If you guys remember in the episode where he gets drunk AF with the reincarnated Wei Ying...he confesses saying "I have my regrets...I wasn't by your side". Proving that how he was not next to WY at Nightless City that day was his biggest regret. Anyway, it's been 10,000 years....and I am still not over these two....probably never will be! :')

It's of the most painful scene ever. Lan Zhan couldn't believe Wei Ying is died,he was standing on that cliff till a long time
