Golden age superman is amazing honestly. He may not have been the strongest version of superman, but at the time when he was created he was possibly one of the most powerful characters in fiction. At the time being faster than a bullet and more powerful than a locomotive were amazing feats since those were some of the fastest and most powerful forces known to the world. From then on he kept getting stronger and even better. Hell in his old age his strength matched his younger post crisis counter part. His death was so damn sad because it was the death of the first superman. The golden age superman, all the other superman come from him. Never forget golden age superman!
now that I think about it more, feats like outrunning a bullet, jumping over skyscrapers, stopping full speed trains, and throwing house size boulders is absolutely insane. I feel like as modern superheroes have gotten more and more insanely strong, we've stopped appreciating stuff like this. it's quite impressive really

Characters from kid's cartoons could defeat both of them easily, Cosmo and Wanda (Fairly oddparents), Genie (Disney's Aladdin), Alien X (Ben10) all of them are nigh-omnipotent.
