Father Landry loves Jesus. I just completed part of a Eucharist Procession through the Pittsburgh Diocese. Father walked 17.5 miles in 112 Degree Heat index. I was privileged to carry the canopy over the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The last section of the journey Father was pushed to the limit and carried the Eucharist in great suffering as an act of offering. The priest before him passed out due to heat exhaustion. These men have such charity in offering themselves for Christ's church. Please continue to pray for our Priests they offer their lives in persona Christi for the sake of souls!

Wish The Church provided “mobile confessionals” … get a trailer, convert it to a confessional, equip it with a driver and priest and set times at local grocery store parking lots, etc. - might reach a lot more people that find it hard to find the time to do something so important.

I am learning it is quite freeing of the spirit when you forgive someone.. be it a little thing, or a big thing. Whom are we to hold back if we expect to be forgiven by God. If we don't, then we cancel our own forgiveness from Him (please correct me if wrong).

I just hope that people who are going to confession realize how important it is to have contrition, do the penance, and amendments are. There are so many stories of unrepentant Catholics who revolve through the confessionals... I've never experienced it, but that has to be very troubling for priests.

Where do you go when you die?
There is only one God who is eternally manifesting himself in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says, that we are all sinners.
As it is written: There is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3:10
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags Isaiah 64:6
For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23
(The word “death” in this verse speaks of spiritual death in hell.)
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures 1Cor 15 3:8
In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14
For by grace ye are saved; through faith and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vein Galatians 2:21
If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior.
Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you.
You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. the words don’t matter, but remember your prayer doesn’t save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you.
The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.

This is so true. One a very simple way to put it is this. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Don't be a Hipocrit.
Also if you don't forgive people you have Hate in your heart. With hate in your heart it pushes out your full capacity for Love and Joy.
Whats so awesome about all of this is God knows that when it comes down to it we are incapable of true forgiveness for many of the hurts against us. So God gave us an out. And its pretty simple really All we have to do is pray for it.
Something to the effect of God I know I need to forgive so and so. But its just not in my heart please give me the grace to forgive them. And eventually he will. This simple prayer over time has helped me tremendously on the path to forgive those who have done me wrong.

    Mathew 18
18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children,(B) you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.(C) 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.(D) 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.(E)
15 “If your brother or sister[b] sins,[c] go and point out their fault,(M) just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d](N) 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church;(O) and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.(P)
18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[e] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[f] loosed in heaven.(Q)
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them(R) by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”(S)

In my experience, Hellfire preaching works for me because my faith was strong for my whole life. I do not doubt. Belief was not the problem. Lack of passion and compassion was and is the problem. Apathy can only be fought by injecting some passion in there. Hellfire preaching can be very good for that.
I already felt guilty for my sins, but some protestant preachers light a fire under my kettle in a way that no Catholic has yet.
I see no redeeming qualities in myself, kicking myself seems to be the only I get down the road...

    Semiramus
The image of mother with child in her arms was/is so firmly entrenched in the pagan mind that after the time Christianity appeared on the scene in the fourth century, these statues and paintings were merely renamed and worshiped as the virgin Mary with her god-incarnate son Jesus. Thus, gentered Christianity as the Roman Catholic worship of Mary with the infant Jesus. In fact, in Tibet, China, and Japan, Jesuit missionaries were astonished to find the counterpart of the madonna and child as devoutly worshiped as they were in Rome. Shing Moo, the holy mother in China was portrayed with a child in her arms and a glory around her, exactly as if she had been fashioned by Roman Catholic artisans
