Roe v. Wade doesn't allow abortion without restrictions after 24wks, and going that high without restrictions are rare.
In order for women to receive care, which is often considered an abortion for various health reasons...."abortion" needs to be legal w/restrictions up to 9 months...thats what Roe allowed and thats why women weren't dying like they are now after being refused care during an emergency.
To be clear, an abortion at 7/8/9, etc, months is extremely rare and would likely be a live or die situation. Although extremely rare, it needs to be legal so when a situation does arise, doctors aren't afraid to do whatever is necessary to save a mothers life.
Roe worked. Women weren't having abortions w/o restrictions after 24wks, but Republicans want you to believe that women just want to have"just because" late term abortions. Not the case.

Former Senator John Danforth, who was Hawley’s mentor, had said supporting Hawley was the worst decision he has ever made and from this debate performance I can see why Senator Danforth said Hawley was a big mistake.
