    The fix it sticks are a must. I check the base and rings before hitting the range every time. Just the other day I went to my local range to confirm zero on my deer hunting "rifle". (It's a AR chambered in 350 legend. Not exactly a rifle cartridge but legal where I hunt.) Long story short, a guy at the range figured out his scope base was loose and had no tools. I was able to get his base and rings torqued down and get him back up and going because I always have my fix it sticks in my range bag. They are absolutely worth the money.

    I've got all of these except the Hornady Comparator. I've been eyeballing one though, for a while and will likely add that soon. 8) The one inexpensive tool that I add to my list when I introduce someone is a Lee Factory Crimp die. Especially for all pistol loads, lever action loads and any heavy recoiling firearm like my .375 Ruger. I like the crimp it imparts better than the "taper" crimp introduced in most dies and it can crimp even on flat surface bullets without a cannelure. Also easier to adjust.

    I have a progressive press and recently got a powder cop for the very same problem of not being able to see the powder charge... Just recently added an LED light to the work stand and it great...

    A notepad.
    Document as much as possible. Not just load data. Speed, drop data, number of shots fired etc....
    Documenting action screw torque settings for every rifle (especially those with wood or synthetic stocks without pillars) have been a game changer for me.

      If I may add SPECIFICALLY a note pad of paper. Backing up electronically is fine but pen and paper is timeless, requires no electricity and can be accessed any time. I have three small wire bound note books I have had for years. I even document the source of my loads (Hornady 10th ed, Nosler 8th ed, BLC-2 label) Gert is so right. Document all you can. Years later you will be glad you did.

    I really want a set of Fix-it sticks but they’re far from cheap. They just introduced their long range kit recently, kind of glad I hadn’t got one of the others already. Great video.

    Hi Piet. Jou studio setup is net so mooi! Dankie vir die video Piet!

    More Pieter, hoop dit gaan goed. MDT het die LSS-22 chassis system vir die Bruno Merk 2 / CZ 452 / Norinco JW 15 gemaak en die is gediscontinue, enige voorstelle vir 'n vervaanging vir dieselfde chassis? Groete Craig

    Do you still sell to US? I used to be able to see your gear in USD. I only see in in R now.

    Please add MidwayUSA to your affiliate list if possible. For me, they are prefered. Nothing against Brownells, Midway is just faster since their warehouse is closer.

      I love MidwayUSA and have used them for years. However they wanted half the price of the item I wanted to ship it. I decided to do with out it.

      Midway is now a bunch of cucks, they used to have low prices… now they have almost the highest prices, website does have a nice layout tho.

      @@smoakngun The trick with Midway (in my experience) is to wait for the free shipping promotions when ordering small stuff. They seem to cycle two weeks with it and then two weeks without it (roughly). Not saying your wrong by any means, but if you have some paitience, it seems to work out that way for me. Midway for me is usually two days till its at my door and Brownells runs over a week most of the time. Thats just the luck of where these guys are located obviously.

    • @rickengle262
      @rickengle262 2 роки тому

      @@IMPACTSHOOTING well thats just a bummer....I may just do more Brownells orders since it'll help out on your end....gotta pay you back for all the great knowledge you have provided to myself and others.
      At this point if ANYBODY would get my Berger bullets in, I'd take...even if I had them shipped from Saturn...gah !!

    If that’s a specific shirt that you give to your patrions then don’t soil the exclusiveness of that shirt and the people that earned it. And I’m someone that hasn’t so I feel like that means more coming from me. Let it be something no one else can get unless they become apart of that. Just my humble opinion.
