+Eganator2000 Not that underrated! Nut they deserve to be respected and highlighted continuously! People don't get the massive and inspired tracks, this doesn't let the deserving bands keep on! It basically binds the devoted artists but if we're human and if we still want to focus on the straight rock side through the power of the real music and the connotation of a correct alternative approach we can't absolutely shirk or turn down the electrifying vibe generated by Hard Fi! From my standpoint we determine the success of a band and when we want it to be endless we just strive to make it happen! Then, soldier on! Try to keep Hard Fi alive and to put such a groudnbreaking piece of art on the throne!
They weren't underrated as they did very well with the first album but the problem with their first album is that it was very hard to follow.. The next couple of albums were ok but nowhere near as good as the first. They're not finished either as I think they might have an album coming out this year or certainly within the next two years.. They're not broke up just taking a hiatus.
They were never underrated, they brought out two top 10 albums for pete's sakes so that means the public rated them.. The simple fact is that anything after the first album wasn't anywhere near as good. They had ten or eleven potential singles on the first album which shows us how strong it was as they could have released any song from that album as a single. My favorite song is "Better Than That" from the first album but I do like this dance tune too but I don't think it even charted which is a shame (couldn't find this song on the UK Chart list." Songs' that did chart here "Can't Get Along" a single got to 45 in the charts. "I Shall Overcome" got to 35 and "Good For Nothing" got to 51 which tells us that the songs weren't catchy enough to make a decent impression on the masses. Suburban Knights actually got to no. 7 but I think this song was crap compared to the singles released from the first album.. It was deemed good enough by the fans who got it to no. 7 in the charts but the rest of the singles released were so weak that anything else that was released must not have made it to the top 100 in the charts because I can't find any other songs than what I have found on the charts history recordings already.

My favorite song off this album is Move On Now... I just love that song , it evokes such emotion in me , and I can't help it. I'm not necessarily into 'slow' love songs , but that song , Move On Now by hard fi , gets to me EVERYTIME.

Just listening to this track you may admire the sturdy melodies, the harmonic electronic base and the powerful sound of a peaceful guitar! They're meant to hit a big audience and perhpas the audience partly suited this need over the years but I'm pretty sure they deserve a more respectful and devoted recognition. I acknowledge you don't look for the success but the fans should grasp and fall in love with your method when it seems commendable! Let's rate this band and help these brave guys reach the top, possibly!

Hard-Fi are awesome, They elaborate on the area they are from, sing about where and what era they are from and have a political view (The Jam did this remember) Hard working local lads to the Staines area who pointed out what was right and crap in the area. I was a massive fan as young man in my 20s and then aged 35 last month had the privilage of meeting Rich in my local Tesco. He was awesome. like a typical working class man like me trying to make ends meat. for that 100% respect. I think Hard Fi have done what they aspired to do. The side projects however i wanna see more oof. (btw im pissed) not many times a dad aged 35 gets a night off! working class in staines lol xx
