The fact that a guy like him, who is undoubtedly mainstream now, recommended those matches makes me EXTREMELY happy. Seriously. Kobashi is the effin' GOAT, and it's criminal when people say Cena, or HBK, or Jericho, or Undertaker are the GOATs. Checking out the four pillars changed what kind of a wrestling fan I am. Before I was all about the promos with The Rock, or just having him be champion all time, but after watching my first five star match.. I was hooked.
It's Chono and Mutoh at their respective physical peaks. The pop at the end of the match is absolutely unbelievable too. Mutoh is genuinely a genius though. Every reinvention is completely revolutionary and changes the game. When his knees were completely shot, he mat-wrestled and built up to kneeing people in the face. Tons of people copied him.
I’m happy Kingston is AEW. I really hopes he becomes the star he wants to be. This guy really shines. He knows what he could work on and if he does those things he can be great.
I don't think Eddie knows how good he is and how he's built to be a top star. Like World Championship main event top star. Wrestling is about telling stories. There needs to be a conviction in their promos and Eddie has that pegged.
Eddie Kingston is one of my all time favs. I love how candid he is and outspoken and how OPEN he is about mental health. The guy is an inspiration to men. He's a macho guy like a lot of us but still has the struggles a lot of us all face inside and he shows ya how to thug it out and keep it a buck while still doing what's important for your mental wellbeing. The guy's a champion to me.

Became aware of Eddie when he came to AEW and he’s been my favorite ever since. His character is a bad ass and he has the gift of gab on the mic. After watching this, he’s so humble and keeps it 100 and I value that in people.

Because I do not have cable or satellite TV, I was not familiar with Eddie Kingston's work in Impact Wrestling. When Kingston arrived in the NWA during their pre-Pandemic Era on UA-cam, I thought to myself, "This wrestler would have been a natural for the original ECW. Why did Paul Heyman not sign him?" I was also pleasantly surprised to see, that Kingston could do clean promos, and put on a good in-ring performance. I am very glad to see that he is now getting steady work in AEW. Eddie grew up along the way because there was a time where it felt like he wanted to fight the world and now his attitude is like "so what? I get it." The LAX/OGz thing was to get LAX over, not to bring the OGz back so once it was done, the OGz were done. Eddie got it.
Eddie just blew my mind. Never heard of him. He just step in AEW and, manage to freshen up a thing already cool. He is such an amazing speaker and his matches were pretty good and keep me involved which is the most important. Hope there will be a long a bright futur in AEW.
