A place i worked at used to get birds in and we couldn't set the alarm on a night time as the movement of the bird would set the alarm off. I used my weirauch pistol to sort them out. It worked a treat.
I'm not an airgun expert but I will say the 2240XL carries way more leverage that close up range, it's capable of way more especially with Hades Gamo pellets!!!
It would be useful if you told us what they are! 1st two Crosman 2240 3rd looks like a SMK CP1? by the way 5-6ft lbs rattling round a car bulkhead NOT recommended
I dunno, this is just a micron away from being a classic Monty Python skit, IMHO. I understand the sincerity behind it, and I personally am a big fan of airguns, but for some reason, that doesn't keep me from having to almost choke back a laugh several times during this vid thinking about John Cleese and Eric Idle doing the same interview.
In United States we have no restrictions on strength/power fps of our air guns so over here even an air pistol has the strength to kill pest up to big rats & california grey ground squirrels which are really bad pest that dig up sheds and nest in drywall & installation.
Ima Canadian using a Umerax Airsaber with a fpe over 170 fpe & a fps under 500 fps so since only one ( fpe ) is over legal limit of lol... 4 fpe it's 100% legal for anyone in Canada...perfect for large pests or hunting grizzly....
Try a 177 Benjamin trail np pistol with a 1-22 eclipse red green dot.... American model (7.1 chamber not Canadian 5.1 ) fps with a 5.1 Gammo Raptor gold pellet is over 775 fps... & 5 fpe...ima Canadian...no Pal...
What's the fps if they're a 22 plus pellet weight ? Ima Canadian our max unregistered fpe is 4.2 fpe if projectiles fire under 500 fps as well. You're better off spending $500 Canadian for a Umerax Airsaber if you can't get a Canadian Pal...
@@judeuk6554 BBs also do the job!I personally shoot rabbits in city area with Daisy powerline 415,and it's putting long eared bustard down from 20 metres away at ease!So headshot is absolutely inevitably instant kill, and gutters are squeaky as rabbits hell🤣🐇🔫👍 Just yesterday by the way tried to put down a cottontail with rapid fire from about 5 metres:hit 4 times of 4 ppw,all guttuers!Yet all 4 th metres made it through the belly and were followed by loudest squeaking sounds like that!
now that you Brits got your country back, perhaps you can convince your Government officials to ease your gun laws a bit so that enthusiasts can shoot with real handguns and not these toys......
Nice thought there mate we can only dream at present nether the less dreams can come true ps i don't think of my air pistols and air rifles as toys there, it was our own Uk government that banned handguns back in 1996 not the EU!!!
Why shoot with more power than needed, using stuff that has a danger range of hundreds of yards ir stuff like this on your backyard? Still pest controll is a bit stupid with a pistol i think, hard to shoot steady and low power even to an air rifle, so this must be hunting in a very short range?
Crosman 2240 i find really fun closerange plinker and totally customizable! Highly recommended for first timer shooters
Especially the upgraded 2240XL version
I’m glad he explained in detail how a red dot sight works.
🤣🤣
Very customizable, those Crossmans. By the time you add all the dudads( accessories) you could have bought a Beeman P1.
But what are the names of the pistols? -_-
The one with the gold bolt is a crossman 2240

What are these guns, and what did the guy on the right say? I didn't understand anything he said.
How about rabbits or coypu? Thnx for answer!

a air pistol that you can fire quickly with magazines is ideal
it is caled a Hatsan AT P2in .22 it makes a clean kill up to 25M
Cp2 is good
Those Air pistols could kill a pest at at least 20 feet or more , even up too 30 feet if you are a good shot , they are about 6ftlb ,
not accurate enough
Capt Sealeg Depends on practice and the shooter V V
Villy Vassell good luck but i dont expect to see any of your air pistol hunting vids soon lol
i used to shoot plenty birds with a .22 webley tempest years ago

can a 400 fps .177 cal take a dove
why shoot doves they getting rare shoot pigeons
Yes easily as long as u are using .177 pellets not .177 bbs (it would be better to use a .22 pellet because it is bigger than a .177)
Yup easily. I'd recommend the .177 H&N piledriver, very good round.

We can own and shoot "real" handguns in the UK as long as we have a good reason and have had a proper background check.
I hear it's impossible to own handguns
