If you have watched my AquaTec Ottawa Pro out-of-the-box first impressions video, you will know that I was not impressed with the supplied kayak seat quality. Making this video gave me the opportunity to set up and try out my new seat, which is the Aqua Marina High-Back Kayak Seat. I ordered this seat via Amazon at the bargain price of £23.98
Coupled with my gel pad, I think that this seat will afford me the comfort to paddle further without aggravating my lower back problem.
Now, although I have been talking about my seat choice, this video was prompted by a question from one of my subscribers which was posted on my AquaTec Ottawa Pro First Impressions video He has been watching my videos on the Hiqmar EP18Li Electric Fin, and posted the following question.

Hi Dave, I am considering purchasing a new seat for my Sandbanks Style Optimal inflatable kayak because I find the seat, that came with it, uncomfortable. Ideally, I would prefer a fairly rigid back rest that does not collapse when I lean back on it. Would you recommend the Aqua Marina high back kayak seat. Like you, my back can ache after paddling for some time. It's an age thing, which an old boy like me suffers. I can't really find any other seats that look suitable. At the end of the day, the decision is down to me.
I seriously cannot praise the Aqua Maria High back seat enough. It is an absolute essential while out paddling
Hi David i enjoyed watching that ,like your self i luv the outdoor activities, fishing, hiking, cycling, got my first inflatable kayak this year itiwit 100 one man ,been doing my adventures on the Basingstoke canal, iv done the barley mow car park as u did , iv been looking to upgrade later and been looking at aquatec ottawa theres a few people on utube with them so could be my next investment, looking forward to watching your first out in the aquatec 👍🚣♂️🚴♀️🏃♂️
