Thanks! This was very useful video and helped me to choose new heads for my drum kit. It was surprising how long Pinstripe rings. I have used earlier G2 and Pinstripe. Gotcha sounded good, but perhaps a little bit too muffled sound for my taste. G2 and EC2S sounds the same. Due to this video I just bought Remo Emperor clear heads which seems to be somewhere between G2 and Gotcha.
Glad to hear! Atm enjoying Gotchas very much in live kit playing, will next put on the other lineups on one at a time to the full kit playing for further analysis 🤙🤌
The Hz are the batter head tune-bot tunings in this test - try e.g. the same or higher Hz for the resonant head until you are satisfied to the tuning/ringing to your ears.
Pretty sure those are the lug pitches (which tune-bot reads), which would put the fundamental tones somewhere around C# on the 16 and A on the 12, assuming the batter and reso were tuned the same. I'm ballparking it, of course.
I like evans g2 drum heads
I would tune the 12" head little lower, but this is ok,...and I use Evans G2 Clear, they sing long time, however they are not so low
I like the evang2 clear

From my experience EC2S sound more glassy than G2 which are softer under the hands.
Cool!
Which are the hz top and bottom Heads?
The settings you posted in the description are the fundamentals?
