Hullo Becca, thanks for sharing your more of your adventures at the Show! I have always put together my own watercolor selections, that is until I was introduced to the Artist curated sets of watercolors at DaVinci of California! I purchased Denise Soden’s Earth Friendly first and was so impressed with the balance and thoroughness of the paint selections I purchased several Trio’s and all of Denise’s curated sets as well as Scratchmade & Joyce’s Mother Green sets! I hope you have a chance to try some of these out! You might even contact Marcello the owner for a set or collection for sharing on your channel!
I'm really looking forward to the Mungyo travel palette that will be at Jerry's! I hope it comes out soon. Thank you for the video showing all the new goodies coming out!
I love the collapsible bowl. Art tool kit sells those thin pallettes with extra pans and mixing stuff already. Not sure if Mungyo’s will be any better.
Mungyo's palette has separated mixing spaces in the lids, which is my biggest issue with Art Toolkit style palettes. That'll make the Mungyo palette thicker, though - there's always a trade-off.
I ❤ the "Collapsibowl" 🤭. So great to tralel too. The Holbein gouache looks amazing, as does their new palette. Thanks forbringing us along. I will hop off to see the Kuretake granulating review.
Fantastic, thanks for sharing your inside scoop! Everything looks amazing, but I'd love to get a look at the Winsor & Newton stand and a play with their new sets
Fun to see the next generation of art supplies. I want that big red palette by Holbein!! re: your comment about da Vinci quills: their Cosmotop MIX B (a mix of synthetic and natural bristles) is my favorite line, and the quills are amazing-very calligraphic and capable of fine details but also good for washes and expressive lines. Similar to the quill that artist Rabi Alieva designed for da Vinci which is my all-time favorite brush. The "Mix B" can be a bit hard to find in the US for some reason.
That magnetic Mungyo palette is right up my alley! I hope it'll be available some other way to get it than just through Jerry's Artarama, or it'll end up very expensive by the time it gets go me in Sweden 😅 I'm not a huge fan of the Sakura Koi style boxes for the new La Petite Aquarelle range, but I wasn't going to buy that range of paint anyway so 🤷 Winsor & Newton... I just desperately wish they'd bring some of their old watercolor boxes, like the little bijou boxes with four mixing wells in the lid. I suppose the Victorian paints will have to do for now, though (I'm going to want all of them, probably, lol 😅)
OMG I am a SUCKER for anything Holbein. I love their pencils, gouache and watercolors. Even have some of their Heavy Body Acrylics. I REALLY wanna try their Acryla Gouache, and both their oil/soft pastels tho. They're just so expensive. They have such good quality products. I want them all even if I can't, LOL.
Favs as😅 newbie: *Sharpie has thick colored markers😅❤. I only knew thin blk one 😂 @27:17 ...in 2000 i got a collapsible water cup (3 plastic pieces you twist up) got for traveling (b4 bottled water was avail/avail everywhere). and love seeing them made now for art cleaning cups. The one you showed looks great cuz all the brush holders! @7:11the davinchi acrilic/Oil combo brushes sounds great! @9:30 the pigment paste by Holbein look interesting for watercolor ideas. Esp if its safe @19:14 the canvas paper w built in stands (white ibas?) looks great. Idk more about them.😮 @21:35 the WN revival colors look interesting. Would need to see a nice completed artwork using them to see if its worth it or just hype for brand "releasing" stuff to just sell. @22:36 the pinks watercolors by Chartpak's Kuratake/Gansai Tambi in wood box looks beatiful❤. Q: how much is that Anniversary box & is it all 3 in 1 box set? @23:17 interested in more about watercolor ink sticks(? Like oil sticks?)
Im sl kealous 😂 we dont have those product in the philiplines yet. Looking froward to watn yoir next videos if you end up reviewing some.of the new products
Thank you I've never watched your channel before and I liked all these things your showing me especially the Holbin and Daniel Smith quoch. The QOR has nice new cases but the half are not as good as the tube's. I thought they would be but I'm disappointed 😞!! I bought all 3 mini pans. It's not bad but the half pans don't have that special bam! If you know what I mean? Have a great day!! JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸.
Art Toolkit is the original design of the lightweight magnetic pallette that Mungyo is plagiarizing. I was going to get some of their art products, but, nope. Not when they're stealing other artists intellectual properties. @JerrysArtarama will be boycotted, as well.
@@MsRain49even with a patent, as long as the company can prove their version of a specific design is "better" or an "improvement" of the original patent, they can make it under a new patent.. Hi everyone 👋🏼. I wouldn’t say Mungyo plagiarised it from Art Toolikt. Many small Etsy sellers have versions of the Art Toolkit. I actually came to know about the idea of using a business card holder from a different Etsy store. I also remember seeing a blog somewhere on the internet where the blogger mentioned that they also came up with the same idea as Art Toolkit, but several years before Art Toolkit was established. That blogger couldn’t understand the fuss about the Art Toolkit palette but never called them plagiarisers. Also UA-cam has s couple of videos on how to turn a business card holder into a palette. I do not think that the people who made these videos were aware that several stores on Etsy already had those.
I agree. The Mungyo palette seems to be quite different from the Art Toolkit. The reviews I've watched stated that it was rather heavy for a travel palette and few artists ended up going for the Art Toolkit instead. The Mungyo palette was taken off the European market last year. Interesting that they're now introducing it as a completely new product.

Ha, ha, I was just feeling nauseous as you said ‘I hope I’m not giving you motion sickness’!
omg,i would go crazy being there! how exciting

It's a ripoff of art tool kit's pallette if you want to check out the original. Arttoolkit is slimmer, it looks, and comes in 3 sizes.
It's unapologetic plagiarism from Art Toolkit.
@@confusedpenguin6933 I don't mind a dupe of a product if it's cheaper.

Stoneground paints are great!

This was an excellent video! I’m looking forward to the granulating watercolors, DS gouache, and everything at the Holbein booth. Thanks for sharing!

I'm excited about the Mungyo tube watercolours ❤🎉
Being from Saskatchewan, the home of Stoneground I am so excited to see what your opinion is!

That cool thin palette and the Paint Puck Collapsibowl!!!

I’m thinking about buying Stoneground paints so would love to see you play with them
There is actually a review of the metal palette here on UA-cam.
Is it Derwent that came out with the new water brushes you mentioned, or another company?

Mungyo palette looks very similar to the Art tool palette. Very Similar, hmmmmm???
Yep. It's almost an exact copy.
Almost like they've unashamedly stolen the design...
I noticed that-sad!
Thank you for showing us these. It was so fun to watch=3
Thank you very much for sharing this particular video I’d love to visit one of this exhibition…..thanks again
Ooh, I would def get that Mungyo metal travel palette!
Who brought out the new water brushes you mentioned?
Ooooo metalic water colors ? Wow
Very cool sustainable materials!!! Yay.

I dig those paper kits
I didn’t know irodori was being discontinued!
Mungyo travel palette!
Stolen design from art tool kit.
My dream product release would be a Holbein 150 Watercolor Pencil set 🤤
Good info cool beans

I don't know why anyone gets excited by Mungyo. Their quality is student at best. You are not missing out.
I know that it doesn't seem right, but, unless you get a patent on your idea, anyone can and will copy it.
