I actually really like the Re-GZ design and am bummed the Nu Gundam stole the customs spotlight. I'm really hoping for a HGUC Re-GZ custom someday as the normal HGUC Re-GZ is one of my all time favorite kits.

I still dont get the hate for the old one. I have it and i love it. Sure its a bit dated and has some limitations when it comes to articulation and weight but its nothing like the GM Custom or the GP02 which are just awful (and happen to be my fav designs).

All in all this kit has potential. A less cartoony colour scheme, some nice decals, ditch that stupid ak-47 and you have something nice to add to your collection.

Idk why you hate on the Re-GZ so much. Especially for the time it was perfectly fine and the HG is a straight up awesome model kit. I can't speak on the Custom too much other than nobody should be paying Premium Bandai money for a kit that half of is a quarter century old. To me it sounds like you are being more than a bit hyperbolic just to have something to talk about, but granted the Re-GZ design isn't for everyone.
Call me mad but I didn't mind my Re-Gz build. sure it's a brick kit with no poseablity what so ever, but it looked fine. Not great, but fine. Now don't get me started on that GP-01FB, THAT'S a kit that is the spawn of satan.

I like Re-GZ Custom. It's a shame that it's P-Bandai. But at least we finally got it in model kit form after all these years. Happy with my purchase.
