Hey man, really glad you've decided to combine the unboxing and review into one video. I've always hated seeing the unboxing video in my subscription feed, always found it odd that you basically repeat the same information in both videos.
@@irfandanial1094 welp it was on PBandai US and I ordered mine last Minute, Love CCA and I need a ReGZ, I’m regretting not getting a few other kits that I missed out on, Mainly the Dwadge
Lol just treat it like a stabilising fins on aircraft, which was only useful travelling on low speed or tight break and turnings.By all means it’s just meant to travel 1.5G,it ain’t going 3times fast than usual so it wan’t really that important.Btw with do all respect,in my opinion the RGZ is just a over prized and underrated hit and run tactic type of MS.As u may recall from CCA it got torn to parts barely even putting up a fight.so concluding that those small stabilising fins aren’t really necessary, and ofc I could always argue that that it was more than just a gim except it perform rather like a Jegan.Yet having the capability to travel in waverider form but not quite transformable into flight form,so yeah it was indeed over costly for a unit for its intended role.
I actually like the Re-GZ. I was kinda irritated that it came out after the Re-GZ Custom, because I totally would have bought this kit instead. Not that I am disappointed in the Re-GZ Custom, just that I do prefer the design of the original better (Grunt suits!).
With do all respect the REGZ was meant to be a mass production solution towards the zeta, even though it do come with a rather interesting method to travel in flight form, but it was still in the experimental phrase.Which ditching the whole fighter backpack was rather not very effective for its intended role,as like a zeta or rezel it was intended to operate like military term “Cavalary” or lancers to be precise, which means they are meant to be travelling faster than regular “infantry” jegans in this case, also suggesting that as fighters flying in formation cover more ground for the jegans and tear a hole in the front. By all means I am not suggesting that the backpack dropping solution is stupid, which I turn could be advantages in some scenario of intercepting the “enemy” Zakus much more quickly and fast reacting, yet ditching the pack and operate like a regular “infantry” ms offering a bit bit more armour for protection. So this shall conclude that REGZ was by no means a worse MS but not a tailor made MS either, rather performing generally normal (also not to mention it was designed in the 80’s),so it may be underrated in its time fine in generally speaking, just ill fitted for the role and rather not a efficient solution for it’s intended pourpose as it was claimed to be too costly.
Thanks for the review. Contemplating picking it up. Under rated ms imo and would love to use the updated parts to just re paint like the original. But the re gz custom gets me 😤

I have both the original Re-GZ and the Re-GZ Custom, the articulation on the Unicorn ver is better in a lot of ways from the shoulder, head, hip, and the waist. Design wise, the original Re-RZ's head is bit to bulky, though I like the body proportion of the original more, the Unicorn ver has been slimmed up.
The Re-GZ was supposed to be a cheaper version if Zeta. So its supposed to be less exciting. The Re-GZ custom was concept art for the movie turned into a model. This would have been the hero suit if they didnt have Nu Gundam.
I'm very annoyed that they just announced the CCA color version but only for the Side F Fukuoka Japan store 😟The fact that Bandai wanted to remake this master grade, but they just don't want me to have it 😢
Sorry to say so as the REGZ back pack dropping concept was by no means worse, but perhaps it was too experimental at the time.Which wasn’t really suitable for it’s intended pourpose suggesting the REGZ was ill fitted for its role,as it was too costly for its role and lacking in superiority. For the REGZ custom it was intended to be a remodel improvement on the REGZ,but was never built as suggested too expensive for its role and an overhaul may not be suitable towards the manufacturing line especially it was meant to be mass produced and fit a large scale military. Suggesting that the REGZ custom redesign may sound promising on paper, but in reality it may have several flaws.Which includeinh that it was capable of fully transforming,so a giant large shield wasn’t reallly necessary for the role intended, and according to the model release date the UC version of REGZ was released slightly earlier than the REGZ custom, suggesting if required they would have armed the custom with the improved shield shooting the red grenades,so it was rather accurate to the story line that the UC version have a slightly improved configuration on armourments within the shield, suggesting experience from battles within the CCA era and the custom got a sloppier shield because it was just a overhaul redesign blue print for the concept, which was never meant to be built.Suggesting if it was mass produced redesigns should be base on flaws reported from REGZ pilots and such slight configuration would be sensible and made in early production phrase which would be obvious.
Zeta Plus C1 Sadly I don’t think that will happen. It seems with these more obscure/less popular suits (like this and the Dwadge) Bandai isn’t committed to giving them full 2.0 updates. Seems the standard treatment for lesser known suits is to give them p-Bandai 1.5 updates.
Can someone explain to me why the hell is the old ReGZ considered one of the worst MGs? Its old but for its age I think it has decent part separation, poseability is great, and the end product is pretty solid. The transformation looks terrible but in mobile suit mode I find it to be a very decent kit.

I dig the Re-GZ. This is one of those MS where the longer I consider it, the more I like it. Warmed up to it
