Definitely good points. I had one friend who said I live in a dump. That blew me away. I live in a small A Frame overlooking a small lake. It's old yes, but a dump? No! My rent is $500.00 a month. Cooking is definitely a money saver. I seldom eat out and cook from scratch all the time. I had my last Iphone for 7 years before it gave up the ghost. I hated getting another phone! I hate spending money. I not only live below my means, I have a savings account.
Thank you for reassuring that my frugal nature is helping me semi-adult well. I will tell the landlord's that my rent is my cleaning services, just because they are my parents does not mean we are not transacting.
😂 right! At our old age we can't be out here giving out free labour. Frugal living is definitely a necessity during the early years of our careers otherwise we will stifle our own growth by living above our means.
I love this content, great advice here Tino. Learning to live below your means is actually gonna be fundamental in the next year cause I feel like things ain't getting better 🙈😭
The truth in this vlog is on point 👌🏽 I've tried out most of the suggestions made here -- they absolutely work! One day I will tell the tale of how I self-financed my postgraduate studies through living below my means 😃
Great tips, I will go for sharing apartment. Is super cool idea. Yeah transport is expensive I have switched to walking and MyCiti Bus. Thank you Sir for cool ideas.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy them ☺️. Lol it’s funny how my brain activity goes to ZERO whenever I purchase “wants” but I overthink when it comes to investing 🤣
Awesome content Tino! Your tips are very practical and relatable and achievable! Something I've recently been trying to do is to plan how to use my money ie budget and this is actually waaaay easier if you download a budget app on your phone. I'm such an impulsive buyer and this budget app thing has really been my saviour.. Plan how you're going to use your money and try to stick to that plan as much as possible.
🤣 I feel you on that impulsive buying. A budgeting app is the great hack when it comes to controlling your spending! I personally use 22Seven. It has great features, you can link your bank account, etc...and it’s free! Which app do you use if you don’t mind me asking?
Did u read the book “your money or your life”? Its also an eye opener and the book fast lane millionaire and the unscripted book by MJ? After ive read that my entire outlook on life somehow changed. Loved your video
I've tried but the meat is always more expensive. I think I'm just going to boujee butcheries though. Which one(s) do you buy your meat from? I'd defn want to have more meat in my diet if it's cheaper 😂

Dude, where have you been all my life?
Rather buy meat from a butchery than the supermarket, it's waaaay cheaper.
