You missed out in Colin Weir British Euromillion winner
That's number 1 on this list
Getting sued by a priest over money is one of the most disgusting things I've heard this year...
It's really hard to understand winning $188 million and going broke😢😖
Naw she was trying to keep her low life boyfriend out of jail.
how about the good working clean living gal whose bailed bf was busted with drugs in the house....she lost it all, "undue proceeds of crime(?)"...! Or is this the same poor gal?

When you win the lottery never forget what it was like when you didn't have money. The moral is don't change live on a budget.
Facts
That!☝️ has never and will never happen!!!!☝️🤣 MONEY “WILL” change you !!🤣
@@campbellmarty36 If I won the Lottery, I would buy a gaming computer with an i13 processor, two RTX 4090, and some games like Diablo 4 and Mortal Kombat 1. I would donate all of the remaining to the Federal Government to help reduce the national debt!
That’s the whole point of having money to not be on a tight budget. I would say yes still budget, pay your taxes & don’t go broke buying craft stuff
@@campbellmarty36money doesn’t have to change you, it’s the ppl around you that change which makes you have to act different imo
I'm sorry, but if my numbers weren't entered because of a 'server error', I'll see the lottery runners in court. There's an argument there. If you could prove that those numbers would have been entered had there been no server error then that's on the lottery runners for not maintaining their server properly. That seems like a viable legal argument to me. They should have won.
Afraid this story is not entirely accurate. Euromillions allows players to set up an account to play online. Euromillions is drawn twice a week on Tuesday and Friday evenings. If you have saved numbers you can elect to play same numbers for up to 4 weeks. This would be 8 draws at £2.50 each, so you would need funds in your account of £20 to cover the 4 weeks. You then need to renew for following 4 weeks.
As heartbreaking as this was, the young lady had insufficient funds to cover her ticket cost. It was her responsibility, the lottery operator cannot chase for payment. People may often be unable to afford to renew their 4 weekly cost. So, it was in no way a server error, she simply had not ‘purchased’ a ticket.
@@kevinallwood2730 Thanks for the clarification. Didn't seem to make sense. If it had happened the way it was told, like I said, I would have seen them in court.
I said same thing, I did not know she didn't have the sufficient funds
@kevinallwood2730
That makes sense because if not, then like the op said see ya in court and the video didn't say they even at least tried to raise a fuss about it. Which makes sense because it was user error.
This shows that the lottery is a fix. The 1 time they don’t put the same numbers on and those numbers ‘randomly’ come out!!
money does not change you, it ‘reveals’ you
Very well said!
So true
Just like money doesn't make you happy, it creates temporary happiness. If you can't find happiness poor then you'll never find it rich either.
that's why we can begin this moment to thinking about what money, however little, we do have; and how we can put it to best use, however humble.
And your "friends and family"
Why would the bank just use your money without your permission?? I hope he sued honestly
He must have signed something he didn't even read.
Omg out of the stories I heard this one is f up seriously now where I going to put my money if I ever win the lottery
The bank straight up robbed him. Must have been TD.
Can’t even trust banks smh

The money if followed by problems .One way or the other you will lose it 😭
I mean, it's to be expected: People that have been struggling for years suddenly have money that'd logically last the rest of their lives. It's simply too hard for them to fathom.
Never leave your money in the bank ❗️
You shouldn't have to be in publicity if you win lottery
In some states, like my state Kentucky, they have to tell when you win.
If/when I win, and they ask me to invest some of the money, I'll tell them I already have plans for it.

Smart 🍑
And all she had to fish over of the $10 million dollars was only $1 million. She laughed said you can keep it, I've got nine million more left for myself.
If I won the lottery I would do the following order
1. Legally change my name
2 move to another state
3 buy home
4. Invest the money in hard assets. Land, gold And silver
I'd set up my family to have Healthcare, no mortgage.
Then I'd move to Europe-- back pack to Africa/ Middle East. Giving all away to the poor. Then give my lost dollar away. Get bapti
And don't forget to spread the money among DIFFERENT banks and remember to AVOID Spanish banks and Chase Bank.
@@largol33t12 I wouldn't put over $1 million in the bank, and that would be used to buy Bitcoin, ADA, and XRP. The rest would be used for hard assets. Land, house
@@largol33t12 houses, diamonds etc. right now there are over $1,000 banks on the verge of collapse because they hold notes on commercial real estate in democrat cities where businesses are closed because of the SAP head democrat District Attorneys who refuse to prosecute criminals. If I had millions after buying the hard assets I would consider a trip to a Swiss bank
clearly you dont have any idea how finances work. precious metals are useless as investment, just barely keeping up with inflation. you would be much better off in a foreign bank account that you done research on and you be able to grab a extra 4% interest.
When you win millions in lottery. Not everyone needs to know. Give first fruits unto God. Invest in Real Estate, Gold, stocks, etc. Keep your money in different banks, don't put all your eggs in 1 basket. Give to the poor & donate don't be stingy! Get a lawyer & financial advisors. The bible says in Proverbs 11:14 " Where the is no council people fall, but in the multitude of counsellors, there is safety". God bless!
This is why I go inside stores and purchase a ticket rather than buy one online.
Is it better to quick pick or choose your own number?
Doesn't mean that you will get the money ❗️ After all the lottery was supposed to help the school system...trust me, I worked for the school system and if the money was supposed to help the school system...you never know by what you see

How could Andrew have $17 million before he won. He didn't seem to understand money at all.
Take these stories with a grain of salt. Andrew’s story is missing a lot of information. He had a construction business before winning. That’s why he had 17 mil already. Once I heard this channels story of Andrew, I stopped watching. Because that one left out vital info. So I don’t trust this channels other ones.

How the hell the online purchase ticket didn’t go through. WTF I’d be cussing the air
It was because they didn’t have enough money in the bank for the direct debit they had set up to pay for the ticket so the lottery couldn’t issue a ticket.
My guess is the visa card they were using past it's expiry date. Ive had the same problem when my phone credits were not being accepted. It's not a set and forget fail safe system.
They had no money in the bank. It was all over the news here.

Hang on a minute. No.13 who invested his money in his bank and they lost it through their poor decision making? Surely he can take the bank to court and win handsomely?
Yes true 👍
doubt it. banks lose money all the time
Yes, if he was told it was no/low risk, and / or not informed of risks to his other accounts tat is surely a case of mis-selling?
@@Stormcrow-dc3ez no investment will ever be pitched as no risk. besides low-risk still means theres risk of losing money meaning they told the truth
@@williamwoolf8072 I’m sure that would be the position taken by the bank, but, something seems a bit off if the losses weren’t limited to just that investment vehicle and overspilled onto his other accounts… Possibly he did get greedy and invest everything in a high risk account where he was liable for losses over and above his stake in that particular account…. Still worth getting a lawyer to look over his communications and paperwork for breaches in communication and possible mis-selling though. Perhaps he did and found nothing could be done?
They say the best thing to do when you hit the lottery is to get a lawyer and a financial advisor
Absolutely! If I ever hit it big, Ima get a lawyer first and foremost!
Yes but not your local or family lawyer...big money is a specialized branch of knowledge . Go to New York to a firm specializing in handling the issues created by great wealth. they incorporate you and send a corp rep to accept the money and press attention. Apparently, anonymity is the biggest help to survival, and the local lawyer who at best hangs out on the golf course with 'richer' people, will not have real experience and overlook some detail somewhere, every time.
@@mikemotorbike4283 Oh HEEELLL no! I am NOT letting someone else accept the money "on my behalf". How do I know I will get that money? Are there contracts involved, gauranteeing that I will get the money I am entitled to receive?
Even harder than winning the lottery is finding an honest lawyer.
lol both of them will rob you blind
That bank screwed him
I'll still take my chances on winning
There's an old saying that goes "people are only as loyal as their options". Some people believe that money is worth more than friendship
There is an Australian story of a group of workers buying a ticket together and winning. The holder of the ticket not revealing the win to his fellow workers. The other workers caught on quickly because the company was a courier company and the same company that delivered the congratulatory bottle of champagne and flowers. The outcome, he paid out what was left of the win.
I would not tell anyone if I won. No fancy anything either
People change when they have so much money, like they're on top of the world. And then they fall and go back being humble and blame the money for their behaviors when it's actually them
That’s a very good point
The idea is to put the money into a trust and live off of and spend only the interest while NEVER touching the principal. This especially goes for those who win 10s or 100s of millions, b/c they can earn millions each year in interest alone. You can still treat yourself and loved ones, but only spend using the interest you earned from non risky interest bearing accounts. Your untouched principal should be the gift that keeps on giving.
Usually low risks investments will not return enough to make up for inflation. You want to grow your wealth.
IMO best is to diversify majority in real estate then etfs , stocks, metals ,...
OMFG that 1st one in the video is CRAZY. That stings. For the rest of their life, they’re gonna be scarred by that.
That's why you claim it anonymously, don't flaunt it, and don't trust anyone or any institution.
What type of investment did the bank make with his money that could cost MORE than what he originally invested?
Options or bankrupt company but my guess is they just stole it
How the hell that church going to sue her that Priest was a Devil
Money makes you more of what you already are

Very funny sir narrator😏
4:16, Again he could have sued the bank because a Bank manager is Not a Stock Brocker. So they could have been seen as Liable for all his Losses. Plus I dont think a Bank is allowed to Remove money from your account past their own fees let alone take MILLIONS.

It's really sad and hard to understand why those people with lots of money going bankrupt and even in debt..
Financial irresponsibility... It's a thing
But such enormous money and they invested in buying cars, houses, etc, they can sell them. Losing all the money is fine but going in debt is really hard to understand???
@@polbriana715those things have maintenance and taxes, over spending by using credit cards.. thqts how they go to bankrupt, even if they sold their house/car the dept isn't paid

Immediately after checking their numbers they told everyone and posted on social media
I'd say it's probably better they didn't win based on previous things
The bank has to notifiy you about any investment they can't sell your or anything,I can't believe that I always get statements every 3 months...
Two things a 16-year-old doesn't have enough maturity to do: use lottery winnings responsibly, drive a car.
nah maybe just you damn near everyone start’s driving at around 16 some way earlier
Yes. And capacity to handle a ton of alcohol.
That's not true at all. I'm 32 years old, and I have never gotten into a car accident. I have been driving since 16 years old, and I was a better driver back then than most of these 30, 40 and 50 year olds that I see on the road now that can't even use a f**king turn signal.
It's almost impossible to lose 200 million but I guess if your not the brightest bulb and if you have a lot of hangers on draining you anything can happen.

If you win the lottery and the bank offers to invest for you always say no. Dont ever let someone else handle your money.

crazy that a bank can do that to someone and get away with it and also shows u should trust everything u have in just one place but u should for sure use a bank for some maybe for a savings but if u are going to invest is better ways to do that and letting the bank do it for u most likely isnt the best idea it would be like handing all your money to your gambling best friend and him telling u he is going to double it

She should have saved that money and put it in a fund for her Disabled child, not that low life criminal. Heard he is locked up and tried to sue her for gifts she brought him. Hope she has got some good legal help and has gone somewhere he can't find her or her children.
About 13 people that never deserved to win the lottery. Could've been me
I'm yelling at the TV telling them how their they squandered all that money!. I got tears in my eyes😭💀😂👏👏💯
What are the odds that the one time you get lucky there’s an issue with payment for something that normally happens?! I’d do an investigation on that if I was that young lady….
It was because there wasn't enough money in her account to process the automatic payment she set up.

Some people haven’t got enough sense to have money!!
Poor people don't know how to manage their money when they hit the big lottery.
no 10 is a perfect reason why you SHOULD remain anynomous after winning the lottery
In some states, that is not possible
@@DaveWEarle That's true...there are only like 7 states that allows you to remain anonymous. Florida lets you remain anonymous for 90 days, which while not optimal, is still better than some states, plus you don't have to pay a state income tax in Fla.
I would be so careful if I won this much money
Wait what the bank robbed him? That's a major court settlement. Im sure he sued. wtf.
I buy online all the time and I’ve won. Small prizes of course, but no more than $100 in a single game (I got 3 white balls and the red Powerball). The tickets show you as the owner and the winning numbers. It’s good to make sure you’re buying from a licensed lotto system online and make sure your receive a ticket confirmation for your tickets.
I just go through a participating retailer and get the actual physical ticket. I’m more old school as far as that goes but I’ve had smaller wins of $4 and $7 from Powerball, $2 from Mega Millions, and a time where I won consecutive free tickets for Hoosier Lotto (Indiana’s state lottery) which in that case I won a free ticket to then win another free one but I still count my blessings no matter what.
When is the wisest time to celebrate winning a lottery jackpot?
When you find out that your ticket has the winning numbers? No.
When you have completed the process of redeeming the ticket? No.
When you receive the pay-out check? No.
When you have deposited that pay-out check at your financial institution? No.
The moment that those funds have cleared and are available? Yes.
Your first plan upon realizing that your ticket has the winning numbers is to hire a Lawyer, an Accountant and a Financial Planner and plan for how best to go about redeeming the ticket.
Always BE PRESENT!
Actually there is one more step after the funds have cleared and that's once you are far away from anyone who can influence your mind and feelings.
"The love of money is the root of all evil"
No its not
Am I the only one who would have checked that my online ticket purchase had gone through ? Having worked in IT, I know that 'server error' is usually code for some dufus screwing up : you can build redundancy into hardware, but you'll never fix human error. Sue the bastards.

She really got a bag and didn’t leave her drug dealing bum . That’s ….
There's a pit I like to call spend, spend, spend. It's a lot of fun to spend. But people loose track of the fact the pool of money, although vast, is finite. Keep pulling it out and it will eventually run out. The smart move is to not fall into the pit.
And that's why i'll never put my money in a bank
1:15, they should have Sued for their owe'd money... The Lottery Server was where the error was, it wasnt a Error from their bank or the card, so Technically The Lotto Cost them the Winnings. and they could have gotten Some if not all of their winnings in return.
And people still want AI around, after the 1st story?
Its the couple own fault that they missed out on the lottery! When I play online I make sure I get the email confirming my purchase and check my online account to make sure the ticket is there!
Yes and you can have screenshoot of your ticket
Exactly. I buy online all the time and I’ve won. Small prizes of course, but no more than $100 in a single game. The tickets show you as the owner and the winning numbers. It’s good to buy from a licensed lotto system online. If you don’t receive a confirmation that the actual ticket has been purchased, it’s not yours.

Those two were lucky for NOT winning $228 million. That kind of money ruins more lives than it changes for the better.
The lottery should have paid up on their winning ticket that “somehow “ didn’t go through as it showed her numbers as winning.
I can honestly say, if i ever won the lottery, it wouldnt change me, ud still ve the same humble person, but it would change mine and my childrens lives ❤
Winning the lottery can be a very dangerous thing even if you're good at handling your money. You'll have to spin some to protect the rest of it, Thieves will either break in to your house or hack your account or do whatever it takes to steal that money when they find out you have it.
Reminds me of an interview, where Johnny Depp says something along the lines of: "money doesn't change people. It just reveals who they really are."
Invest in property wisely.
each of these people did it to themselves, don't blame it on others.
Frankly, i learned this leason the hard way, recently. You cant rely on anyones words, you can only rely on yourself. The best way to make money when you have money is through real estate.
Put a mask on claim lottery prize use a alias name and buy a cheap car and reasonable price house and keep big wins to yourself and invest in good investments similar to real estate
The best things in life are free or very cheap. Money won't buy you a happiness.
" When he won *FIVE MILLION* Canadian dollars, or about four point four U.S. Dollars." 🤣😂🤣😂
Francisco Guerrero's story is so sad...
So the bank can loose your money on investments and there is nothing you can do about it, you have got to be kidding me! And if I owned property, I would be d-- if I would leave it in someone else’s control! I’m sorry, but what I live on now I could make it on not much more and invest too where I always had an income and still live an awesome life style! I’m not going for it! Sure you can blow it all, but it doesn’t have to go that way! So, are you trying to tell us not to play the lottery!? What’s the point!
No different than athletes or entertainers who go broke
I Like how some one not being able to buy a ticket is the worse thing to happen and not the people who lost friends and love ones
