    It looks great, I think I will never do a single line of dc again! Thank you for sharing, for your beautiful video, the light, the sharpness of the image, the speed of your explanation, it is neither too fast nor so slow that we get impatient while we watch :), and your sweet and relaxing voice. I think you would make, if you are not already, a magnificent teacher. BTW, I shared it in Pinterest, liked it here, and... will go to check your channel!

    You are my inspiration for crocheting again and doing bigger and bigger projects ❤️ I had lost my joy in this form of creating art and couldn't get reinspired until I ran cross your videos. When I saw your straight sides video, it perked up my curiosity and I have watch many of your videos. I got a notification for 2 rows at once video from the beginning chain,but was already in the middle of making a big purse. I searched your videos, found this video today and it has literally blown my mind. I believe it will be a real time saver and easier on my carpel tunnel too. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents, skills and giving me my joy back to crochet ❤️ I look forward to seeing more of your videos you post in the future. Thank you so so much. Happy crocheting my friend 🎉

      I just got notice you replied back and I apologize for not replying sooner. Ms. Tuula can guarantee to the love and compassion I have for crocheting will follow me to my last moment in this life. ❤️ When that time comes I'll be found with a crochet hook in one hand and yarn in the other, lol 🤣🤣🤣
      I do have a question though, if you could post step by step videos on learning how to do the rare and unique stitching patterns much easier? Or possibly point me in the right direction of another crocheting instructor who does? Many of the videos I've watched the video makers verbal instructions are beyond complicate or they go to fast making it harder to follow along,even with pausing videos. I take step by step notes from the start to finish of videos, using the "US" abbreviations and writing in my own short hand. so I can do the project on my own wo having to constantly rewatch videos...🤣 ty for your help and can't wait to hear back from you. ❤️

    This is fantastic. Always a fan of stitching hacks and this one is gold.
    Question: can this work for back or front loop only stitches?

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  2 роки тому

      You can take only front or back loop for a new stitch but I haven't tried to see how you would need to alter it so that also the middle bit of the stitch would look like front or back loop!

    This is a great time saver. Though, I wonder whether this would work, too, when the project is a loop instead of a straight piece, like socks or loop scarfs.
    Something to try on the weekend, I still have one scarf for Christmas open.

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  4 роки тому +2

      Yes, it would work for things like loop scarfs easily. For things like socks and mittens it would take a bit more working out the stitches because you would need to get increases or decreases in the right places!

    why do we need to chain 5 more?

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  3 роки тому +5

      I say that in a situation that if you know the width of your project, then you make all the chain stitches needed for the width. Then to start the actual stitches you need to chain 5 to get the height of the stitches.
