  • According to Chevron deference, which was overturned by the Supreme Court yesterday, the ATF and all government bureaucratic agencies were the actual experts and whatever field they operated in.

The ATF are NOT subject matter experts. They are not the Authority.

The Leadership of the atf is so stupid that they don't have a clue which end of a gun to point at someone.

SCOTUS also just ruled 6-3 that We The People have no standing to challenge the Federal Government when it pressures private corporations to suppress free speech.

The EPA has been using this as well to hurt the auto and energy industry. I would love it if we could roll back some of the emissions garbage on vehicles. Make diesel great again

The current head of the ATF admitted, under oath I might add. That he is not a firearms expert. Let that sink in.

It can legitimately be argued that if this ruling had come out earlier, and the effects of the ruling then had enough time to filter through the ATF, Bryan Malinowski would very likely be alive today.

Lots of people seem to be forgetting about the rule of lenity. With the Chevron deference gone, rule of lenity should be coming into play in these scenarios.

Chevron deference eliminated what was supposed to be the defining characteristic of the Judiciary: Its independence. Thank God it is now gone, so that the Court, and not the Agency, can correct Agency errors.
