My thoughts Jedd... too many red flags and fake. If he is legit he's the strongest ever and makes it look easier than ever. Also yes Jedd... I agree why does the gripboard obsess over gripper certifications (particularly Ironmind) when it's just such a small % of grip and feats/certs out there. I'll never get it

explain to me why this is normal? 2.53-3.49 Karl left the frame and the picture was motionless for 1 minute, and the sound on it could also be edited and superimposed on the video
4.20-4.27 He covered the gripper with his body. And he could very well replace him.
And 4.39 A very quick attempt to close and immediately removed the gripper from the frame.

I think most people were a little disappointed in Carl's certification video, however he has a background in grip with a lot of competitions under his belt. So even though the video wasn't perfect, I think most people know he was strong enough to do it and he's a legit grip athlete.

@@dizilchanel7022 I don't know, ask Ironmind. However you're misunderstanding. People are skeptic of Dmitry because of the strength gained in such short time, they're not complaining that the execution of the rules wasn't done properly.

@@dizilchanel7022 There are a lot of red flags in your video, as with must IronMind video submissions. I'm just reporting what I saw. If it bothers you that people don't you, then do another certification.

    Well said Jedder.
Ironmind is slowly killing their brand by allowing video certs. They need to bring back inperson judges, even though that's not perfect either.

What I noticed in his certification video, that I find funny, is that he closed the gripper without any shaking at all. Then in the middle of holding it shut, his hand started shaking. It almost looks like he remembered in the middle of his hold, that his hand has to shake to make it seem legit.

    • @weightlifter9788

Why do you think that that every athlete must close gripper with hand shaking? When I try close hard grippers ( for my level) in DS or MMS my hand never shakes

The easiest thing would be to invite him to official competitions or something similar. Then he could demonstrate his skills. Otherwise, there are only possible inconsistencies that make one have legitimate doubts somewhere, but cannot be proven. And that's exactly the reason why I find video certs totally stupid.😉🤘🏼

Politics…it ruins everything…you know what’s more fun…two men battling grippers till one fails…then there is no doubt who owns the strongest hands…you could certify then in front of a competitive peer…but I bet that would get F’ed up too…At least then the arguments and complaints will be in real time to hash out

You sort of ruined ironmind grippers for me by educating me on rating them. Maybe this guy is the strongest grip ever, maybe thats a really soft #4, maybe he cheated.
Either way I am not very impressed by any feat of strength in someones home gym be it a gripper vert or Thors deadlift. Get out in a competition and do it when others have a chance to match your feat or at least handle the implement as well.

@@gripstrength I should tell that some people keep their grippers no so carefully as you think it should be. I keep grippers in box many years and they touch each other inside. And knurling has good state. It is very big difference between keeping grippers in bucket and popping gripper into back seat inside car.
As regards for popping gripper from hand - this is his brand moving, if you undarstand what Im talking.
