I’m not a skier, I thought it’s good for backpacking because the no insulation and breathability in the back.
Can I use a Nuclei FL over this like a light belay and block the wind, maybe oversized?

Hi man! Love the videos. Looking for a jacket for sitting around with friends on cool summer nights in Tennessee. I currently live in Qatar, so it’s always pretty hot. Because of that, I’m not acclimated to cooler temperatures when I visit family in the summer, so I tend to get colder than a person who lives in Tennessee. What would you recommend? Was thinking the Atom LT or the Proton Lightweight, but I wanted to ask you since you’ve tried just about every jacket out there 😂 Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!
I like my Atom SL in summer, and the proton Lightweight is awesome too. Either one would be perfect. I think the Atom LT will be a bit too warm for summer, unless you are up in the mountains and the temps really drop at night.
