I really love your videos, they really helpful since they are really simple to understand. Also wanted to say that i did get my first 4 star from Mt Magnus rank 1 and it was from the Cattleya Series
I must've gotten extremely lucky, i managed to get my Cattleya Sword before I was able to equip it at Mt Magnus Rank 1. So yeah, rank 1 does drop 4*s, but at a super low rate.
My first 4^ Weapon drop was a Cattleya Knuckles and was in Vanford Rank 1. Since all those weapons are rare to begin with, they can drop in that zone. The rank probably just indicates how rare the chance is. Given that the Vialto Talis I got in Vanford Rank II was after more than one trip, and those two are the only ones, it's still rare enough. TO be fair, I didn't concentrate on farming them and was either there for the hell of it or was doing a quest to begin with, so I didn't spend overly long in either place.
Yeah resurgir are not BIS for anyone unless you want to multiweapon. Most classes don't sidestep they use counter so they won't have that up very often to be honest. The big thing is if you want to combine Rod/Talis or AR and launcher you are forced to use resurgir. Those combos can be pretty powerful hence why resurgir rifles are so expensive. The other reason that series is popular is that it has a lot less required level. It lets you use it on alts while leveling a lot sooner.
There're a few weapons that do sidestep frequently-- Namely Talis, Partisan, Launcher, AR, Wire and SOMETIMES dagger. For Talis it has Vialto, I prefer that but Resurgir Talis is amazing for DPS, I just can't spam as well on my Te/Fo with it, so it's a preference thing and making up for the loss of PP regen for going Te/Fo instead of Fo/Te Partisan also has Vialto, but I spam Cleaving Scythe>Assault Buster, if I can't get AB I sidestep out of Cleaving and 9/10 times get a sidestep counter. For me, Vialto doesn't help as much, but other people may not play like that on Partisan. Launcher has Vialto, but you dodge so much that it comes down to preference. AR has Foursis, I don't see the point in Foursis in current content since it's more or less oneshot protection and currently that's not something we have to worry about, so I'd just go Resurgir on it. Dagger/Wire both of Foursis, Dagger dodges a lot less, but it's a Fighter weapon and Fighters love crit so EH
I have a fully augmented revilate rod from Pso2 that has a bunch of potency augments plus the 23% base potency boost snd it is just as good as any of these plus some. But once 5* and up stuff starts dropping I’m sure I will have to replace it.
You should've included the FIXAs. I'm using a Foursis Rod/Rifle with Level 2 Fixa Fatale. If you want the potential of the Resurgir, just find any weapon series other than Resurgir with FIXA Lv1-5. They are cheap now.
Vialto could also drop from Vanford Lab. rank 1, but the drop rate is a lot lower i guess??. In my case, it dropped after beating the PSE Climax Boss. This happened to me back when i was level 12.
The Cattleya swords dropped for my GF last night, she was level 5 with no sub class, I was techer level 5 with fighter level 19 subclass I also received a few more, the knuckles and I forget the other. This was in the level 1 area of MTMagnus and she had only just reached it to the point the game let's you PSE burst, can confirm they may drop at level 1 but maybe you need to group with someone who's progressed?
Guessing he hasn't had any of the Straga series drop since he made this video. The Berserker potential is pretty good as long as you know how to dodge. 20% potentcy at the cost -10% defense.
Perfect. Thanks for this. I use Talis only when I have to do ranged because it's a flying boss OR if the boss is scary and can one-shot me easilty. Otherwise I'm in melee. Talis is one of the ones that have the PP recovery passive, so that's perfect. That will mean more time spamming spells and less time making weak attacks.
Theseus and Trois de weapons are 12 points of damage less than the 4* weapons (at +40) with a potential that increases crit rate on top of +potency. If you find or buy one that comes with a high level Fixa augment (or stat or whatever that red ability thing is), you can have a 3* weapon that can do competitive damage to a maxed out 4* that can also multi with most other weapons, and it'll cost less to enhance.
@@darwinasuncion When in doubt, go with potency. I doubt anyone is at 100% crit right now so crit potency is out of the question. An argument can probably be made for crit rate.
I think the vialto series is perfect for the weapons that are in that series cause theyre all the weapons that love spamming PAs. Im currently running a Ra/Gu and being able to constantly pump out those Fear Erasers no issue is so much fun
With Bow, I prefer Vialto because most of the time I don't need to side step because I'm already out of the way and for downs. When the enemy is downed, doing the most damaging PAs over and over requires good PP and PP management. Vialto makes that way easier.
While looking up the various Potentials on one of the Wikis, I noticed that the Relik series have 4 different Potentials. I assume that when at least one of my classes reaches a high enough lvl to equip one... When I try to unlock one's potential, which of the 4 I get is random?
Honestly I just want Resurgir TMG and Rod so I can fully utilise my Shiva weapon camo and cosmetics. I'll do it all over again when Bouncer comes out with Soaring Blades too.
I was using a +40 Resurgir Sword with level 3 Fixa for increased crit. I decided to max out a +40 Theseus Sword with level 4 increased crit to compare. While I did lose a small bit of BP my actual damage loss was negligible. With not needing to worry about sidestepping it doesn't feel like you lose any. I play Sword/Launcher and it worked well enough for me that I'm getting rid of my overpriced 4*. lol.
Resurge is pretty much for multi-weapon. It's buff isn't reliable enough to really say it's a consistent DPS boost. I only use Resurge when I want a multi setup that I cant do within the other series. Whenever I can use another series, I do. Any boost you get from resurge won't really produce a visible reduction in kill time unless you are really min-maxing and soloing bosses. Even then it may not benefit you any more then the other series depending on the situation your in. They are great money makers right now though :D if you have a personal shop they can pretty much fund any other weapon build you want.
I haven't seen anyone with definitive data on how damage is calculated. Depending on how much each point of damage on a weapon and potency (with PA potency) affects damage the other series might be higher damage, since they avg like 3-5% more potency baseline and 2 more damage. You'd need accurate info on how raw damage is calculated to determine if + 15% crit is worth the base damage loss (its not like you can't crit with the higher base damage as well).
using Resurgir Knuckles actually helped me with sidestepping :D Cuz I focus on trying to utilize that weapon potential Also, knuckles in general helped with timing, since you get a counter that's really nice when you dodge with the weapon action which has to be timed well enough I should probably try out other weapons, but knuckles are fun :)
I personally just record in 1080p 60FPS. But if you're having trouble with pixelated footage what you can do is record in 1440p or higher then scale it down post edit. (Sometimes that makes the image/ video look crisper. (I do not do this though!)
I got a Vialto spear from labs tank 1. I’m new to the game so idk if there was an update to the series and their drop locations but figured I would let you know. My son plays as well and he got the Resurgir launcher in wetlands.
have you tried to compare the 3* series to the 4* series? the crit is more consistent and only 14 attack less. Only downside is having to use fatale if you want more crit, so you lose out on fixa attack, but you also save a ton of mseta in a f2p players drought
Ah, I asked this on another one of your videos, but this one seems more relevant. Do you know if the Gunner's stylish roll will activate the Dynamo Unit potential from Resurgir weapons?
Cattleya does drop in rank 1. I got one from there when I was soloing the PSE bursts. Also with resurgis, does parrying triggers the effect? or only side step? I parry a lot more than side step as a fighter as i'm usually in air.
So Vialto has Launcher and Talis, Okay this is where i will rock tonight. Offensive PP recovery its kind of straight forward Natural PP Recovery kind of nice, i think i got everything that i need by this video, Hopefully this will bring some more fun for me xD
I got a Cattleya Sword in Mt. Magnus Rank 1 on that alt character's first PSE Burst lol, which was irritating given I had been farming for 4 star weapons on my main and hadn't gotten anything
at this point there are people who are selling 4 stars for dirt cheap, and it is more worth it tbh. it s bc at this point, people have grinded so much, they have multiple copies.
all weapons will be redundant? does that mean we get enirely new weapons or will we exchange a +40 4* for the next weapon? if we get completely new weapons/armors, i wouldnt even upgrade the 4* now.
Does the resurgir potential also proc for Fighter/Fists weapon action? The sway dodge. Though I guess you kind of answered it in the video lol. Really wish it did, it'd be perfect, but I've been practicing step dodging anyway
I did find a Cattelya TMG in Mount Magnus Rank 1 but i was level 9 or so and couldn't use them yet. If you get your drop rate buffs and get lucky they can drop from my experience.
Okay so dumb question, does the Resurgis weapon potential work with counters as well? I don't have them yet and haven't really heard much on how it works.
I have a cattleya weapon (gotta double check but pretty sure it's wand) and have never ran a rank 2 area not have I bought one. It is still possible although probably really low chance.
Not sure why i can't find any info about Fixa stats so gonna ask here, do that perk transfer over when crafting a multi-weapon? or do you need same Fixa on both weapons or can it even be done?
So keroppi, on your opnion do you think that multi-weapons are worth the money and time to agument/upgrade? i've been having a hard time justifying doing it at least for now.
I’ve not done the maths but if you augment the weapon to cover both damage types of the weapon and it’s got a good fix and enhanced to +40 and you have unlocked potentials, it may be easier to multiweapon just so you can use it on another class without having to do it all again for the new class. Like I have a really good cattleya wand, I may make it multi with sword just so I don’t have to make a new sword.
I’ve gotten 4* units from rank 1, but like you said it was reaaaally rare. I was still lvl 6 with my main class when I got one by chance, and I didn’t get another from rank 1 til much later.
I think i miss understood the successful sidestep because when i press my dodge button, and the character have finish the animation, for me i get it as i did a successful sidestep, but seem u have to actually dodge an attack to activate it from what u say , which suck for force or other ranged class because u should already be far enough to avoid most of the attack, and if u dont have the aggro of the boss , u have no way to proc it if u cant do it without an attack coming to you. And from there 1 thing i saw, when trying to experiment is there no way i know of being able to see ur actual crit rate on ur character, cause on character profil u can see all ur stat ( hp/ def/ pp/ att/ resist/ etc) but the crit rate, is no where to be seen, i think is a design failure of the game, or idk where to look at.
Does anyone know if I were to multi weapon a katana and tmg together of the resurgir series. Go and dodge using the tmg weapon action, does the game think I’ve “sidestepped” aka dodge. I’ve seen some people say this works. In which case I’ll main braver, sub gunner. Be a good combo as get good pp recovery from gunner
What are your thoughts on people saying that Level 5 Fixa Theseus weapons are better than a no Fixa Resurgir? I myself don't like to dodge with my ranger but isn't the Resurgir still stronger even with no Fixa even if you dont dodge? There is a stat difference of 282 raw / 75% - 100% variance (Resurgir) VS 270 raw / 70% - 100% variance (Theseus) which I think offsets the "always on" crit chance potential of the Theseus series.
@@keroppi the problem I'm having is that a Level 5 Fixa Theseus cost about the same as a no Fixa Resurgir. Really don't know which one does more damage if one does not dodge often
I heard most of my alliance member said that if you dont proc your Resurgir all the time, it total damage output will only win slightly Level 4 Fixal Theseus, but if you have a Level 5 Fixal Theseus, it will totally a win to no Fixa Resurgir when you cant proc it all the time.
I’m skeptical of Resurgir Rod. The weapon action feels superior in every way to side step: restores pp, doesn’t drop altitude when gliding, can be upgraded with elemental bullet to do solid spike damage. Meanwhile this weapon demands you do a proper side steps to gain any benefit, and although dodge has its place on Rod combat; I don’t think it’s prudent to intentionally force yourself to evade every 30 seconds as an upkeep requirement, when in most situations Rod action is the optimal response.
30 seconds lasts forever in a fight. Mosts mob encounters are within 30 seconds, and trial bosses like Nogleths don't last 3-4 sidesteps worth of buff before they're dead. Obviously the Rod action is preferable, but people overstate the upkeep. Maybe they're bad at dodging?
@@drewb1979 The upkeep isn't just dodging in a vaccum it's a matter of what action is it contested with, what are the benefits, and how much of a chore outside your normal optimal actions is it? At least in the case of Rod Action the s compared to "Perfect dodge" aren't all that different; Feet on the ground anyone savvy enough with Rod action is just as good with side step. In fact excluding "perfect dodge" (successfully dodging through an attack with a Step) Side step's movement can be safer over all at avoiding attacks than Rod Action by moving you out of the way, while Rod Action which keeps you stationary beyond normal movement and active momentum. However, you kind of lose a bit of that repositioning utility to make attacks whiff since now you'd be actively aiming for a perfect dodge. Also you pointed out a key factor: "In combat". If we're talking mobs why would I bother perfect evading for a boost that wont serve much in the fight for how weak they are, and who knows if it'll last long enough to reach the next fight before having to refresh again? If we're talking situations that actually matter, like fighting while holding aggro against Urgent bosses, or the upcoming Gigantix; then I'd much rather the option that synergizes with the rotation and lets me DPS more. Rather than throwing another thing into the rotation to keep up that frankly imo; isn't strong enough to justify. If you can reach 50% crit rate for 30 second on perfect dodge that would be a different story, but I'm pretty sure even with a level 5 fixa best you can get is 33%, which imo is only really worth for fast attacking weapons. If the basic dodge is already the optimal option then there is no question and it's a net positive no matter what. In any other situation the upkeep is going to be a question of synergy, and a timer would always be a factor in that assessment if it demands you break said synergy, even if someone was a god at evading. I don't think that's an overstatement of the upkeep.
Unfortunately, the knuckles weapon action/sway doesn't actually count as a dodge in this game so to me Cattleya makes more sense than Resurgir on a knuckles fighter.

I sidestep
There're a few weapons that do sidestep frequently-- Namely Talis, Partisan, Launcher, AR, Wire and SOMETIMES dagger.
For Talis it has Vialto, I prefer that but Resurgir Talis is amazing for DPS, I just can't spam as well on my Te/Fo with it, so it's a preference thing and making up for the loss of PP regen for going Te/Fo instead of Fo/Te
Partisan also has Vialto, but I spam Cleaving Scythe>Assault Buster, if I can't get AB I sidestep out of Cleaving and 9/10 times get a sidestep counter.
Same goes for cattleya, got a few cattleya swords at lvl 13
4* definitely drop from rank 1. Just rarely.
What about the straga weapons?
hey for the cattleya series you get the full 5% dmg from 81%-100% life, 61-80% is 4% dmg, 41-60% life is 3%, 21-40% life is 2% and 0-20% hp is 1% dmg
The Cattleya swords dropped for my GF last night, she was level 5 with no sub class, I was techer level 5 with fighter level 19 subclass I also received a few more, the knuckles and I forget the other. This was in the level 1 area of MTMagnus and she had only just reached it to the point the game let's you PSE burst, can confirm they may drop at level 1 but maybe you need to group with someone who's progressed?
i like foursis since im playing force and im pretty squishy
great content btw!
What fixa is best? potency, crit rate, or crt potency?
@@darwinasuncion When in doubt, go with potency.
I doubt anyone is at 100% crit right now so crit potency is out of the question. An argument can probably be made for crit rate.
I think the vialto series is perfect for the weapons that are in that series cause theyre all the weapons that love spamming PAs.
Im currently running a Ra/Gu and being able to constantly pump out those Fear Erasers no issue is so much fun
Team vialto here!
With Bow, I prefer Vialto because most of the time I don't need to side step because I'm already out of the way and for downs. When the enemy is downed, doing the most damaging PAs over and over requires good PP and PP management. Vialto makes that way easier.
stupid lack of cattleya wire >:(
@5:40 yes, it can drop in rank 1 but insanely rare
4:00 I do have PP management issues…
While looking up the various Potentials on one of the Wikis, I noticed that the Relik series have 4 different Potentials. I assume that when at least one of my classes reaches a high enough lvl to equip one...
When I try to unlock one's potential, which of the 4 I get is random?
Honestly I just want Resurgir TMG and Rod so I can fully utilise my Shiva weapon camo and cosmetics.
I'll do it all over again when Bouncer comes out with Soaring Blades too.
Thanks. Your vidoes help soooo much.
Besides you can only calculate it in most opimal situation. Boss downs a lot or you miss timing dogde bring Resurges weapons down
using Resurgir Knuckles actually helped me with sidestepping :D
Cuz I focus on trying to utilize that weapon potential
Also, knuckles in general helped with timing, since you get a counter that's really nice when you dodge with the weapon action which has to be timed well enough
I should probably try out other weapons, but knuckles are fun :)
Brother u don't proc resurgir crit increase with knuckle parry
@@coencheng6974 I know. it was a separate statement haha
as in, that, too, helped with my timing! :)
@@coencheng6974 Edited so hopefully is better understood. :D
@@Monius13 mm, makes sense now. Welcome to the knuckle brotherhood
Vialto saber has a chance to drop in rank one also. That's where I got mine.
kinda random but how do you get your videos to look so smooth? there isnt any pixelation i think at all throughout all of your videos.
Foursis twin daggers are the way to go for me. Coming from an etoile main, I need that extra survivability while doing decent dps :)
i rlly hate that i cant get a vialto rifle =/ so i went resurgir for rifle/launcher
have you tried to compare the 3* series to the 4* series? the crit is more consistent and only 14 attack less.
Probably not. If the potential says sidestep, then it really means sidestep.
It does not work for me, I could not find the main quest to sent that aux. I am lv 39
I can confirm a Cattleya Sword dropped for me at Mt. Magnus Rank 1. I was about rank 6 or 7.
Cattleya does drop in rank 1. I got one from there when I was soloing the PSE bursts.
Also with resurgis, does parrying triggers the effect? or only side step? I parry a lot more than side step as a fighter as i'm usually in air.
Not sure if some has posted this but I do have a Cattleya Machine Gun. Not sure if this is a bug?
So Vialto has Launcher and Talis,
Okay this is where i will rock tonight.
Offensive PP recovery its kind of straight forward
Natural PP Recovery kind of nice,
i think i got everything that i need by this video,
Hopefully this will bring some more fun for me xD
What is with the new bouncer and braver do they have thous aswell?
Can confirm Cattleya drops at Rank 1, got my bonk stick that way lol. However it is veeeerrry rare as you said. It drops more often at Rank 2
I got a Cattleya Sword in Mt. Magnus Rank 1 on that alt character's first PSE Burst lol, which was irritating given I had been farming for 4 star weapons on my main and hadn't gotten anything
Also is it worth it to just buy the weapons instead of grinding for it? How valuable is meseta in NGS right now?
at this point there are people who are selling 4 stars for dirt cheap, and it is more worth it tbh. it s bc at this point, people have grinded so much, they have multiple copies.
@@chrisdiaz3043 sorry i should've specified, i mean't the resurgir one's.
I have this stupid idea to multi weap my rifle to a wired lance just to have the AoT feels of mobility LOL.
Anyways, good video :)
I'm running twin daggers and wire lance multi. When I fight daityl sword and its weak point is at the back of its neck. AOT feels 1000% man.
I've actually gotten a cattleya sword just running around in rank 1 magnus didn't even notice i got it at first
Aim for 4 or 5 affix on the drop. Bare bones arent that good.
@@glenmcl if you mean the fixas maybe but theyre even much more harder to obtain. Otherwise weapons dont drop with affixes.
all weapons will be redundant? does that mean we get enirely new weapons or will we exchange a +40 4* for the next weapon? if we get completely new weapons/armors, i wouldnt even upgrade the 4* now.
Does the resurgir potential also proc for Fighter/Fists weapon action? The sway dodge. Though I guess you kind of answered it in the video lol. Really wish it did, it'd be perfect, but I've been practicing step dodging anyway
Nope! It has to be the dodge action, not the weapon action.
I did find a Cattelya TMG in Mount Magnus Rank 1 but i was level 9 or so and couldn't use them yet. If you get your drop rate buffs and get lucky they can drop from my experience.
I would use other series over resurgir series but the multi weapons i was to use doe not work with the other series :(
Keep your eyes peeled for lower-rarity weapons with powerful fixas
Okay so dumb question, does the Resurgis weapon potential work with counters as well? I don't have them yet and haven't really heard much on how it works.
Nope, only knuckles WA cuz it is dodge by default
@@aeonredgrave3752 OK good to know, guess I've gotta do some figuring out as to which I'll use for my daggers then.
I don't know what Mt.Magnus rank 2 is, but at level 9 i got 1 Cattleya sword from pse burst as a rare drop.
Oh!? So it does drop! Thanks for confirming. (Rank 2 is unlocked after hitting 1184 battle power & completing the story).
Can confirm this as well, got my first cattelya sub machine guns at level 11 power level 1100
augmenting next?
3 star rifle multi launcher with fixa terminal 5 or resurgir rifle multi launcher with no fixa
Which one is better
me: which is cheaper in the market? can you multi it with wired lance?
A a vialto spear with fixa termina lv1 really good?
PP regenerates while standing around such a savage
I have a cattleya weapon (gotta double check but pretty sure it's wand) and have never ran a rank 2 area not have I bought one. It is still possible although probably really low chance.
What is the best series of weapon to use for wands ?
I had catleya armour drop at mt magnus rank 1 when i had level 6 but my only drops were a foursis rod and a vialto talis
does sidestep for the resurgir include weapon action of the tmg?
I'm a honest guy, i see keroppi video, come and see the video, but first like it, then watch it
i dont rly use Resurgir series because im always using weapon action parry. or weapon action acctualy count as sidestep? can anyone tell me?
Great content. Thank you
can you help me how to change knukle into twin dagger on fighter main class ? :(
buy resurgir knuckle and resurgir TD, multi-weapon, done. if you have any 4* knuckle other than resurgir, you can't multi w/ TD
@@AcrossTheSea12 aaa okok ty for tell me that make me happy XD
i did have a Cattelya sword drop in rank 1 Mt. Magnus so probably super rare
I’ve gotten 4* units from rank 1, but like you said it was reaaaally rare. I was still lvl 6 with my main class when I got one by chance, and I didn’t get another from rank 1 til much later.
does vialto spear have elemental damage?
Does anyone understand level 4 of pontentials? Ie. crit rate +18% on second half of potential.
Does Twin Machine Gun weapon action counts as a sidestep to have resurgir to activate?
Apparently not, that's a weapon action not a sidestep, i can't confirm that tho.
I’d say Fixa stats are a bonus, but I would stick with whatever weapon series with a potential that you are most comfortable with.
@@ushiyoshi6755 thanks for this info! I may go Theseus since I can't seem to dodge at all LOL
I actually found a cattleya twin machine guns in rank 1 mt magnus, i found it pretty early actually.
I actually got a Vialto Talis and a Cattaleya Wand to drop around level 11 well before I had access to rank 2 areas.
Looks like Cattleya Wand drop in Mt Magnus Rank 1 too since I dropped it while level 9 on my first character
Unfortunately, the knuckles weapon action/sway doesn't actually count as a dodge in this game so to me Cattleya makes more sense than Resurgir on a knuckles fighter.
