I'll address the comments on the music. Think about it, at 65 MPH all you will hear is wind noise. So I try to accommodate both the sound of the truck and the need to drown down the wind in the same video. Obviously I can't please everyone, however this is my best attempt. Enjoy.
There has to be some software that will remove wind noise I would think. Or how about a small plexiglass see-through shield in front of the camera to catch the wind
LOVE that Pete, an old school beautiful work horse. No ridiculous stretched frame with dropped front-end or absurd bow tie visor....just classic iron at it's best. Please keep it that way and keep the cool videos coming!!
I remember "Ghosting" through small towns all across America in the middle of the night, just the whine of the rubber on the pavement and the occasional Gurgle of a 335 Cummin's and swapping holes in a 4X4, that was my favorite night stalking truck.
Thanks for the ride along!!!!! Drove OTR few years. Last truck was a Freightshaker Argosy car hauler. Little sleeper!!!! Did a couple of runs in a 362 Pete in college hauling grain.
Hey old trucker I loved hearing that turbo whine when you shifted . I hauled heavy equipment cross county for 16 years for a company in Winnfield, La. I sure do miss it . But was in a bad wreak in 2009 . Happy tails to you.
Customer... Trius, Inc. I followed your route on the map. I know.... I need a life. Truth is, I'm at work getting paid to watch your videos. Love Cabovers. Keep doing what your doing. Music is fine.
When I was a young man driving with my uncles it was all stright stacked cab overs. Listing to that rumble put to to sleep on your time off was a pleasant.
Thank you for coming to my neck of the woods I live in Bellevue oh seeing this video got me excited I love all your videos keep up the good work you definitely inspired me to get my cdls
Was only going watch a little but that old girl growls lovely ! You done a belting job building that one ,it would sound great with stax turned when on trailer cam ,but u still hear it good when out side ,esp on bends when you hear pipe side on! :-) new trucks suck ! Wow, that's crazy. I Deliver steel to Trius all the time. I Drive locally for a Steel company about a half-hour from there!!! Also, I just picked up a 95 international 9600 that I'm restoring and am going to haul with when I'm done.
Driver thanks for showing these new steering orders true trucking with a real truck.. I my self have a freightliner classic xl 525 N 14 ..13 spd...390 rears
@@fsctrucking to be honest the old school trucks are more fun .. reliable..and more powerful and if u take the time to learn them mechanically like I did when I was young u make more money and less time in the shop and parked up.. and from the look of your rig it look like you are prepared for war and any load that comes at you... which is how I do as well..but it the old school boys that bless me with those knowledge...
Great stuff!! I run RV units outta IN and utilize 20 every week. Not only are the toll road prices high, but the condition is horrible, especially in a lighter class truck like mine. Hope you took advantage of the awesome showers there at Gallops. Place is so clean you could eat off.... well you know. :) Ride safe.
I've owned several cab overs and had drivers in some of them. I can remember when I would dream of the day that i would own a truck with a hood, lol, but they was out of what I could afford. Today I own several conventionals, but now I look forward to when I get a chance to drive one of the two cab overs that I still own. 78 k-100 and 85 road commode
Yes, time has changed. I started 22 years ago. Cabovers were still in the JB and Schneider fleets, thats back when they were still a trucking company (as opposed to railroaders now). But cabovers were on their way out by then.
There was a peterbilt cabover sadly just sitting in the back of this boat dock with a bunch of concrete blocks, jet skis, boats, and other things. It was just chilln original paint and tags from all across the country everywhere from Washington to North Carolina. Really cool truck tho

You see these guys need a latter to get in or out!!! How do they fit behind the wheel! There is a medical reason for some people can't help it!!
I tried to do both. At higher speed all you hear is wind. So I tried to leave it raw at slow speed. Also I was using a GoPro Hero 7. I now have a Hero 8. Difference is the 8 doesn't have the "cage" and should be clearer audio.

Works for me.👍
Cabovers and rock’n’roll! It’s how I roll the bones! Gee, roll the bones? Which all time most excellent rock band, did that phenomenal record?
@richard isner hear in the UK and Europe are all 99 % all cab overs and are viewed as much safer then what you use over there

Completely agree
just proper old fashioned mechanical horse power as it should be, can't wait for the next one, keep er lit!!
Finally a oldschool trucking channel!
More to come!
I remember "Ghosting" through small towns all across America in the middle of the night, just the whine of the rubber on the pavement and the occasional Gurgle of a 335 Cummin's and swapping holes in a 4X4, that was my favorite night stalking truck.
As a retired heavy haul driver from down under I enjoyed it all, camera set-up, pipes and especially the turbo between gear changes.
The sound of that truck is so much better than the music.....you’re camera views are awesome
I'm not even American but this is the America I know. Hard working women and men and hard working machines. Love it !
I'm not a cabover fan but do love love the sound of a kitty purring..... Nothing sweeter!
I love a cabover Peterbilt 362cat c15 truck my grandfather showed me how to drive one when I was a young girl
Just love the sound of straight pipes at night...
Great video.. awesome POV
A 335 with a T-590 (and a12 button), 4X4 with a six inch straight sounds awesome in the night, looks cool as well!
Really enjoy the channel. Play back more of your CB chatter. I would like to see how it's changed since i was a kid riding with my Dad 35 years ago.

Wish everyone had truckers point of veiw, its cabover time & cabover city !!
Use to pull gasoline tanker with a COE it was the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE. If could do it all over again I would.
Just saw a cabover Pete today in my town passing through. Was all blue and super sharp!
That old truck sounds great. Thanks for the ride.😎🇺🇸

I always liked driving US-20 though Indiana. Good little amish restaurant in Shipshewana.
IMO its a superior road to the toll road and US 6..
Enjoying the truckin videos, neat old cabover 👍👍👍
A cabover Pete always reminds me of the theme song from Convoy.
Fantastic view going across that bridge in Toledo with a classic Laker berthed there
Really enjoyed the race with the tanker 😂
Another awesome truck vid!
Long hours this haul. Sweet selfie with the tanker!
Temperature looks like it's going down now. The dreaded autumn time.
Its welcome only because I still have the air conditioning to fix.
Awesome video, I could listen to that truck all day. Just subscribed keep up the good work
I bet that Peterbilt cabover sticks out like a sore thumb out on the roads since they're so rare nowadays.
It is our opinion and goal at FSC that everything we drive stands out from the crowd of plain and boaring.
