How to Crochet Bubble Border Edging Pattern for Blankets Scarves Handbags DIY Tutorial

In this tutorial video I'll show you how to crochet the bubble border edging pattern for blankets, scarves, handbags, and more.
Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. The crochet bubble border edging is a nice 3D textured pattern that works great for a blanket, shawl, scarf, hat, and other handmade items. It's a simple border pattern, so it works up rather quickly, plus looks nice on both simple and complex handmade items. For my sample I'm using 100% worsted weight yarn and a size 4.5 mm crochet hook.

The way to keep things neat is to lift each loop up the same height each time. Oftentimes some of the loops get smaller if they are not drawn up tall each and every time, which causes the uneven look.

Yes, absolutely. I would create the two sides of the pillow, then make make a single crochet border to connect the pieces together, then do this along the edging.
