Thank you this was so helpful! I’m currently stuck in Florida with my new born with no help more support/family. My ex is doing whatever it takes to keep me stuck here not even to be a parent to our daughter. He barely wants to even have her. I got an attorney to fight to get us out of here since it’s been so hard as a new mother doing it all by myself. I asked him if I could take her where housing is more affordable and my family and support system is and he said he’ll do whatever it takes to keep us stuck here just to be mean. I wish he would step it up and help more since he won’t let me leave. But my family helped me get an attorney who has great experience with winning relocations and I feel much better now know I have a legal counsel fighting and protecting me from him. We have a pre trial Jan 20th and I’m praying the judge will see right through his abuse and controlling ways
