BMW S1000rr Wrecked Bike Rebuild ( PT. 4 Timing chain & Case sliders replacement)

I bought a 2013 BMW S1000rr from Built from the bottom that was a project of his from a while ago that he lost interest in so I picked it up for $3000! the BMW does have a salvage and 50k or more miles so it'll be interesting for sure! y'all stay tuned for upcoming videos on the S1000rr. SO CJ media and I tore down the bmw s1000rr, inspected it, and got it running! Then last video I took the bike outside to a tree and tied it to it then proceed to hook a heavy duty ratchet strap to my truck and use it to BEND my sub-frame back because it was bent in the wreck! I repaired the S1000rr Instrument cluster that had a damaged stepper motor!
and in this video I install the new timing chain cover and engine case sliders, new rear set, and repaired the little plastic cover to the ignition!

Exciting to see all these parts! So (hypothetically) if I was to crash my bike off a cliff, would that case cover save the case since it bolts to all the mounting spots and not just the bottom 3?

Well, maybe if the bike were to slide down the cliff but tumbled off a cliff probably not… But I don’t think it protect against hitting massive boulders 😕
