  • I bought a 2013 BMW S1000rr from Built from the bottom that was a project of his from a while ago that he lost interest in so I picked it up for $3000! the BMW does have a salvage and 50k or more miles so it'll be interesting for sure! y'all stay tuned for upcoming videos on the S1000rr. SO CJ media and I tore down the bmw s1000rr, inspected it, and got it running! Then last video I took the bike outside to a tree and tied it to it then proceed to hook a heavy duty ratchet strap to my truck and use it to BEND my sub-frame back because it was bent in the wreck! I repaired the S1000rr Instrument cluster that had a damaged stepper motor! I install the new timing chain cover and engine case sliders, new rear set, and repaired the little plastic cover to the ignition. I replaced the front brakes and flushed all the lines to make sure it stops like a top! I bought a new rear wheel and installed a new tire on it (because I damaged the bead on the used tire) also I bought the quick shifter rod so now it's able to shift finally! Now in this video I purchased a new used tank off ebay for $130 and sanded it down and painted it black also I added GOLD flake into the clear coat!

Hi Ben, besides moisture, it looks like you might have a solvent pop issue. This is where the solvent hasn't flashed off between coats so burst through the outer coats and looks like bubbles. Spray painting is tough but when you start to get some good results it is really rewarding. Keep at, and good luck.

the air bubbles looks like it could be moisture in the clear. you could possibly take a heat gun or blow dryer to it and see if they start to disapear.

I appreciate your hard work..i know paint job isn't an easy work... mostly when your expectations are not fulfilled, the results turn into another way.

When you runs use auto to pull the runs out it works . All so 3 three is all you and more it will a few days to get hard. Start sanding with 320 then 1500 and finish with 100 sand paper and stop rushing it.

the air valve is wide open. that's why you have bubbles in the paint

Stop sand in circles sand the flow of the tank. I've been painting for 34 years. And when you're paint in hot weather use medium or slow drying reducer
