Fun Fact: The woman who reminded Jo of her mother during the Waikita disaster sequence in the original Twister is sitting on Glen Powell's right during the rodeo scene. He heard she was just an extra in the crowd, so he got her and sat her next to him. She's one of the only actors from the original to make an appearance in the remake/reboot. Bill Paxton's son also makes an appearance. He's the guy complaining to the motel manager about his refund. He wanted to be a part of the movie in a way to honor his dad. R.I.P. Bill Paxton
Not the only one. Darryl Cox was the Trailer salesperson in Twisters, but in the original Twister he was uncredited. He was in the scene after Bill and Melissa are run off the road. He was the mechanic that said "Oh, maybe ten minutes, fifteen tops." right before Bill confronts Jonas.
Who cares about width? The Tri-State tornado of March 18, 1925 is the deadliest single tornado in US history, killed 695 people in Missouri (11), Illinois (613), and Indiana (71). The outbreak it occurred with was also the deadliest known tornado outbreak, with a combined death toll of 747 across the Mississippi River Valley.
Clearly the next one should be called Titty Twisters. They are trying to stop a tornado from hitting a Mexican bar but turns out its an ancient Mayan vampire bar. And they get trapped in side fighting the vampires while they have to put out the tornado.
@26:55 That's Bill Paxton's son. He was also on Agents of Shield playing a younger version of a character his father played (John Garrett) during the final season.
You two are addictive 😂 I had to subscribe. I honestly think Codey might be or could be a detective. He would be a force to be reckoned with. Bless up 🙏
Cody bringing out the country side 😂. This movie got me in choke hold too and i am a nerd when it comes to weather. Almost took meteorology at school. Everybody talking about the hotty Glen Powell but i was more into the music 😂
❤❤❤ Okay I left hearts before watching, but I just had to pause because as I took a sip of my coffee Cody lands the "walk of shame line" and I proceeded to lose it literally😂😂😂 All Good coffee cleaned up, still laughing😅
The reason why overpass’s aren’t recommended as a safe spot for tornadoes is because of the infamous bridge creek Moore Oklahoma F5 of may 3rd 1999. Where people were killed sheltering under an overpass.
27:37 a lot of the times in tornadoes the dangerous thing isn’t necessarily the wind, like as long as you have something to hold on to it’s plausible to survive, the thing that you have to worry about is what the wind is blowing. Being hit by debris is basically the number one cause of tornado deaths and by getting below the surrounding ground you’re below where the debris will be flying
Water towers don’t serve a purpose anymore in most places. Originally the purpose they served was to create water pressure with gravity but with modern water treatment systems that just treat and recycle water my home town still has the water tower to equalize the pressure but recycles the treated wastewater I forgot the exact quote when they switched from the old system but now it’s something like what you flush is coming out of taps in like 3 hours later after it’s been treated
If they've kissed, it would've felt forced...cliché. Besides, the director of this movie was the same director/writer of A24's "Minari", which was nominated for 6 Oscars with a 1 win for Best Supporting Actress.
Rules for Tornado and Hurricanes-hide in storm shelters and subways and listen and research what to do. Get to know they go near metal . noise, water areas and it is a science and maybe more.
Water Towers work like this: Water is pumped from a natural source into the water tower. There are pipes leading from the water tower to neighborhoods and such, and the weight of the water in the tower pushes the water down through those pipes to your faucet. No pumping needing to supply your house with water, only to supply the TOWER. So instead of every house needing its own water pump, you’re only filling the tower and letting gravity do the rest.
Javi was the most frustrating character to me tbh, I hated how he got all pissy about her not helping with the radar like I get it’s been 5 years but don’t expect her not to react like she did she should’ve just stayed in the car and had someone else help. Idk could just be me but he pissed me off a lot. Loved this reaction!
i went to a free early showing of this movie and they handed out some of those "Not My First Tornadeo" t shirts at the end... i took 2 LMAOOO they are so comfortable and my favorite thing to wear
I saw this movie with my parents and brother last month on my dad's birthday. I have to say they took the traumatic beginning of the original and ramped it up to ELEVEN! O_O "The tornado's gonna try this in a small town." OMG I'm dying! xD
I love the simple fact there are so many little references to Twister, but they were never forced on the viewer. I was born in 93 and Twister was a movie I watched legit every time I went to my cousin's house. which was all the time. it was recorded on a VHS tape and the movie after it was Happy Gilmore so had a suspense movie and happy movie to fall asleep too. Good times. Now I'm 31 2 kids. separate household. only get my kids every other weekend. yup life's good :/ This movie though I was scared to watch because I didn't want it to ruin Twister for me. This movie was actually great!! Even bought it after renting it. lol!
As someone who lives in California, we have both Earthquakes and fires I have nearly lost my home like 5 times in past and I have seen friends lose their homes and everything from fires but i firmly believe that it doesn't matter where you live something will find you in a form of weather
Cody : Ooo I know some of those words ... Bridget : "at", "the", "science" Me : Dying of laughter. that was too good. Love you guys and you are great together. A great reaction, you had me laughing so much. Cody, that t shirt is awesome 👍
I enjoyed this movie. It followed a lot of the same beats as the original, it threw in some references and homages, but it also made the story its own and updated. Overall, I'd probably give it a 7/10. I definitely think it's worth watching.
I was playing a game while listening to this and Cody had me cracking up with his puns and I'm not even a pun guy... Twist me up inside and i had to write a comment lmao
"Ef1 or ef5... its damage not wind, you gotta let it go... this nader is emotionally sucking you of and its gonna keep sucking you off until you say you've finished"
I actually was curious about the plots realism and was surprised to see that weather experts actually say its not impossible to do but would call for MASSIVE amounts of those ingredients. But its not impossible….👍Look it up if you dont believe me.

Glenn Powell’s parents are both behind him as well. They’re in every one of his movies somehow.
lol are you going to post this under every reaction?
@@brianpeople you mean to the only 2 i watch? Yea. Relax Karen.
"Can we move to Oklahoma? NO there giving reasons why u shouldn't" lmao I laughed hard n made a great point😂🤣😂
when cody said "he's even hotter in the rain" i was laughing my ass off cuz its true
They filmed a kiss but Spielberg himself was like, “Cut that shit out!”
probably looked like the kiss from The Rock's Jumanji
the kiss wasn't that nice looking loki
The kid that got struck by lightning also got swept up by a tornado. Mother nature really didn't like him 😂
He got the face that only mother nature could love
Joke is on you... Mother Nature doesn't like anyone... except Glen Powell, he looks soooo good in the rain
In real life, the largest tornado ever recorded touched down in El Reno in 2013. 2.6 miles wide.
Danm
Rip team twistex... the erratic behaviour of that beast of an tornado took the lives of the most coutious chasers :(

There’s a UA-cam video of a guy recording a massive one coming right towards his house! It’s intense!!
The City in the last scene is the City the EL Rino tornado hit
"He got sucked offfff!!!" I died laughing
Ah f*ck he's even hotter in the rain 😂😂😂

an aos fan in the wild??
I was literally coming here to comment this exact same thing saying the guy playing the ass hole hotel customer is BP’s son.
In case that was an actual question, water towers are used for storage and to keep the water pressure in an area.
The movie theater scene was intense for those of us who watched this at the movie theater 😂 it was great!
bridget - if you want cody to stop with the "sucked off" thing.. NEVER get him into the show "Ghosts" LOL
I was thinking about that show the entire time because of him saying that. 😂
"Oh he's gonna take her to a rodeo", Me (having already seen this) "yes, yes he is, actually"
You two are addictive 😂 I had to subscribe. I honestly think Codey might be or could be a detective. He would be a force to be reckoned with. Bless up 🙏
25:20 that shirt is hilarious 😂
I nearly spit out my coffee
@@MIKEYPOOHBEARJACKSON it took me out. Thought Cody was built different 😂
How was that funny?
@@Kyonfilmsanimations8606 cuz I found it funny? You want me to explain personal humor to you?
Omg Cody!!! 25:14 you took me out. 😂😂😂 That muscle shirt killed me.
23:24 I’m literally crying! 😂😂😂

Loved both of your commentary during the reaction. Hilarious. Fun fact: Glen Powell's parents are sitting behind him and Daisy in the rodeo scenes.
I actually like that they didn’t kiss in the end, feels a little too generic Hollywood for me, idk maybe it would’ve worked
Have you guys ever seen The Day After Tomorrow?
I grew up watching that one I love it
Could you imagine a tornado being a final destination death
They did kiss but Spielberg said cut that out
❤❤❤ Okay I left hearts before watching, but I just had to pause because as I took a sip of my coffee Cody lands the "walk of shame line" and I proceeded to lose it literally😂😂😂 All Good coffee cleaned up, still laughing😅

I live in Oklahoma, they filmed the rodeo scene down the street from my house! ✌️
Next sharknado should be sharknado vs firenado 😂
Bro fire nado will win duh
Turns into a BBQ’ed Sharknado
Kate's mom is played by Maura Tierney, who played Audrey in Liar Liar
Am I the only one that everytime Glenn Powell says "Boone" in this movie, the only thing I can hear is Chad Radwell from Scream Queens?
So glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that
5:38 "It's the wonder of nature!"
I like your "cowboy hat" it reminds me of Dustin Henderson's "thinking cap"

This movie is you guys’ Mona Lisa of reactions!😂😂😂😂
I’ve always wanted to see a tornado 🌪️
I find it so funny how y’all predict the whole movie right .😂 Time travelers
Also the guy in the hotel lobby complaining is actually IRl Bill Paxtons son! So that was neat!
Cody : Ooo I know some of those words ...

Being in that El Reno tornado.....terrifying, definitely got the sound down

43:15 "Twisters : The Final Destination Cut"
That title.
"Ef1 or ef5... its damage not wind, you gotta let it go... this nader is emotionally sucking you of and its gonna keep sucking you off until you say you've finished"
23:27 that's how you know the love is real
You two are such fucking relationship goals it isn't even funny. Love this channel so much!
This is one you need to see on the big screen.
38:51 look like a Mile Wide Monster is coming to El Reno
I literally watched this at the movies last week so it won’t be available on any platforms in New Zealand for months!! I’m jealous
The blonde with glasses, Addy. Is Sabrina, chilling tails of Sabrina
There’s a leaked behind the scenes kiss from the movie. That they for some reason did not include 😂
The only way to stop a tornado is to have Godzilla fire his nuclear breath into it.
5:31 GIRL WHAT HAPPEND TO THE SCREAM ADIUO LOL
The fireworks or bombs from Sharknado were for to clear the sky.
Is this a sequel to Original Twister
one question theres is no eye of the storm from the f5 tornado only kate saw the eye on a small tornado??????
I gave a like just for Cody's tee
I don't know if its just me but everytime i see you guys i hear Johnathan! :D
I actually was curious about the plots realism and was surprised to see that weather experts actually say its not impossible to do but would call for MASSIVE amounts of those ingredients. But its not impossible….👍Look it up if you dont believe me.
I was so mad about no kiss also. Loved the movie, though.
Spinning fingers ✌️lol , awesome joke.. I'm Dead 💀💀
Move to Oklahoma! We can be friends! I live in Stillwater where the rodeo is in the movie.
24:23 Yes, he is
They have another channel w/ different reactions? Does anyone know the name? I cant find it linked anywhere. 😩
Wait until you learn they did film a kiss, but they cut it from the movie. It might be in the deleted scenes though.
Poor Sabrina (Kiernan) gave us drew barrymore in scream
13:07 "Who UA-cam streams?" Normal people. Twitch is a cesspool
❤❤
The way Cody predicted the whole movie
I choose to believe the title is referring to you wanting the twisters to kiss. Maybe it is, I haven't watched.
