    Thanks for the review, I installed the same unit on my Lexus, the annoying down-side is it loses all the settings once you turn off the ignition :( , So. Considering that you played with the HI and LO alarm numbers or converted the pressure unit from Bar to PSI, everything will be back to default if your cigarette lighter isn't having a constant 12v connection.

      I don't think mine loses the settings, but I can't be sure.

      Yeah I have the same problem :( I have to change it from BAR to PSI everytime I turn the car on.... pretty annoying.

    Not that conversion is a big problem, but can you adjust the settings for the American standard psi (per square inch).

    2.5Bar and it shows 2.8-3.0. Question is which one is wrong, gast station or TPMS :)I checked another video where a guy measured with digital gauge and then compared, it was just of with 0.5PSI (less than 0.1 Bar) so likely the gas station needs to check their gauges or it differs between units. I have ordered one, 45Euro is peanuts for this gadget :D

    Mine has frozen, the readings never change, and I can't find any way to reset it. I charged the unit via the usb, can't think of anything else to do. Any thougts? tia

    Hi there. Why always must have 1 sensor takes long times for update reading (30 minutes or so) sometimes quicker. Even 1 sensor will freeze and unpaired, then 5 minutes will automatically repaired and reading back normal. Do you have this symptom? I asked the seller it said normal.

    • @Italjohn
      @Italjohn  3 роки тому

      Yes, mine are also like that, maybe not 30 minutes. I have not had any issues with unpairing.

      @@Italjohn probably maybe is my car is suv. In the past I purchased 3 different tpms brands and all have this symptom, but different tyre location. This make me believed that all aftermarket tpms like this. 😂. I kept this because it different from other is when it unpair doesn’t create alarm noise (beep beep) like other while driving is annoying. Btw thank from your replied. Good day.

    I have a question about the internal sensors, so maybe you won't know. But when the tires are rotated, how does that work with the internal sensors since they are much more difficult to change between tires? The display unit doesn't know when the tires are rotated so they would be in the wrong position correct? Thanks :)

    • @Italjohn
      @Italjohn  5 років тому

      Yes that's correct. If you rotate the tire position the internal sensors will follow the tires. That's one drawback with the internal sensors. This is me guessing, as I don't really know. Maybe the sensors can be reprogrammed from the outside, or at the display unit?

    • @LAactor
      @LAactor 3 роки тому

      Scotty Kilmer said recently, you don't need to rotate tires IF your car doesn't have bad struts or bad alignment. BUT if you do have uneven wear from a car accident bending the frame, or similar, the car's ECU can be put into TPMS relearn mode.

    Its a few years ago,but when the sensors are mounted and you are driving,did you notice any vibration(inbalance),and did the noticed if the valves were pulled outwards because of centrifugal forces?(because of the “weight”of the sensors)?

    • @Italjohn
      @Italjohn  3 роки тому

      Hi Rabin. The sensors are so light so you won't notice any vibration. I have now upgraded to a newer model with even smaller sensors. I use it daily and have not had any problems so far 🙂
