BR Class 86 no 86259 Les Ross arrives at York Station from London Kings Cross Station with the first half the The Whitby Flyer, uncouples the train and heads off to the sidings. LMS Black 5 no 44871 enters to platform 10, couples up the train, departs at the station with the steam leg of the charter and is bound for Whitby. Hope you enjoy this video and thanks for watching.

Was a very wet day for it and also a mad rush chasing it up the line to just outside Whitby.

You can hear my 3 year old in this so I’m guessing you was literally stood behind me and my lad yesterday near the lamppost haha
