Hi there, I just saw your video. Great work! Can you tell me if it was easy to use the Dyna switch with the new pickups? The originals come with one extra lead, how could you replace those with the new pickups? Thanks!
@@pke1977 hi there. The new pickups installed has green, red, white and black wires. It’s easy to connect them based on the stock pups. Just put them the same as the old one and it should be easy to install. Hope this helps. Thanks.
hey! amazing tone! :DD I also have an ibanez azes 40 and been wondering about modding it for ages, was wondering if you had any issues with parts not fitting. also especially where did you find a different pickguard for it.
@@digitaldescent7303 thanks for the kind words :) For this mod I just had to scrap off some wood on the bridge part as there’s excess wood on it so I had to use sand grit so that the wilkinson trem would fit. Other than that all parts are fitted nicely. For the pickguard I had it custom made :)
@ yes as much as possible 3-4 wires. Sa case ko may Green, Red, White & Black Wires kaya napagana ko yung DynaSwitch. Kung 3 wires lang may ibang switching position na hindi siya gagana. Since requirement para gumana Dynas switch is 4 wires.
@ yep single coils ko napalitan din. 4 wires yung single coil ko. Yung standard single coils has 2 wires lang pero may mga 4 wires na single coil stacks. Ganun yung sa akin.

@ ohhhh, makes sense then, my luthier also suggested making a custom one.
Did the pickups also fit in normally without any sanding?
@ yes the pickups fits perfectly. No need to adjust anything. For the pickguard I would suggest use the stock one as a basis for the new one.
