    Very helpful video. I use phonak audeo b90 with the cros on the left (dead) side. I have paradise p90 with a left cros, but my paradise aids aren't set up right. The clarity is crappy. I've seen an HIS and an Audiologist. Neither of them can help me hear on the paradise. So still using my old audeo b90's. And I still have to use the compilot 2. Thank you for the info. And I'm still using my littmann 3200 on max amplification. Looking to upgrade.

      Hi K.L. Kosier, I wonder if you would benefit from a second opinion as far as programming your hearing aids. Check out Dr. Cliff AuD HearingUp website and search your area for audiologist near you. Best practices is the main theme of the website which I think is extremely important. hearingup.com/ .
      Also, learn more about specific hearing related topics (Best Practices) on Dr. Cliff AuD's UA-cam channel as well; great info. ua-cam.com/users/DoctorCliffAuD

      @donaldpedigo296 Thank you for your comment! I still use the CORE in my practice...it's my go too for now. One thing I have noticed while using the CORE, for myself, is that when I don't have the mindset to be 100% focused on hearing the bodily sounds, I don't hear well. Meaning, if I show up too relaxed while using the CORE, I tend not to hear as well. I hope that makes sense. So my goal for 2023 is to strengthen my “hearing mindset" to hear the best I can without slacking. This means not depending too much on the visual waveform. I may explain this better in a future video… :)

    • @healthyhearingloss9953
      @healthyhearingloss9953  2 роки тому +1

      Hi sanam tamu, I have found that electronic/digital stethoscopes are marketed today are for people with normal hearing AND for people with hearing loss. I use the Littmann CORE because it increases heart sounds digitally but know of 3 people with normal hearing loss using the same stethoscope because it makes it easier to hear those same sounds. I recommend that if you have hearing loss, you will have an easier time with the digital stethoscope. Sure, you can try the "normal" stethoscope but you won't have the visual to confirm what you hear. It is really your preference. I hope that helps. :)

    Hi DD! I have been suffering from mild to moderate mixed hearing loss in both ears since 2019. I have been wearing a bluetooth hearing aids (Vista) since August 2020. I can hear heart/lung or bowel sounds with an analog stethoscope as usual after that . But my hearing loss became progressive since January 2021. I can’t hear any sound using an analog stethoscope anymore. I contacted my audiologist about this and tried to get a new stethoscope that could help me hear important sounds while I was treating my patients at the clinic. Unfortunately, this digital stethoscope is still not available in Malaysia. Do you think this stethoscope is right for me with my current condition? I hope I can get this digital stethoscope soon.

    • @healthyhearingloss9953
      @healthyhearingloss9953  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Erni, I have severe to profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss and I can hear well with this stethoscope. I increase volume on the CORE body and take advantage of the added features in the Eko app such as volume boost, play from headphones, etc. I like having the visual aspects of heart sounds as well on the Eko app to confirm what I am hearing. The Thinklabs has greater volume up to 100x amplification whereas the CORE is 40x but with the added features in the Eko app sort of makes up for the difference between these two digital stethoscopes, in my opinion. I have yet to use the Thinklabs visually. Please check out the comparison chart on AMPHL here: www.amphl.org/comparison-table
      Hope that helps.

    After watching your video, I bought Eko Core Littmann Digital Stethoscope. I already have Oticon hearing aids (no Bluetooth), streamer and my Iphone with Eko app in it. • @healthyhearingloss9953
      @healthyhearingloss9953  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Joyce. Let’s take the Eko out of the picture, Does your streamer connect to your iPhone? Can you answer phone calls from your streamer to your iPhone to your hearing aids? If not, your streamer may not have the Bluetooth needed to connect to the Eko app. The key I believe is that the streamer has to have Bluetooth to connect to the Eko app via Bluetooth in order to connect to the Eko CORE.

    • @krishysler1373
      @krishysler1373 2 роки тому +1

      Hi Joyce, I am having the same issue with the Bluetooth transmission and no issues with the Bluetooth otherwise. The EduMic helped get a better signal but it still isn’t perfect. My school loaned me the Cardionics 2 and it is immensely better if you can handle headphones over your hearing aids. It’s just easier to connect and less steps plus way better sound. Loads of Oticon users are having issues with the Core Bluetooth. Something is getting lost in the signal.

      Does your left ear have hearing loss? If you have normal hearing in the left ear, I've had good experience with the Littmann Cardiology III or IV in the past (years ago). I only say that because they are much cheaper than the CORE, however, the CORE is really one of the best stethoscopes on the Littmann line (in my opinion) because of the added visual component yet more expensive. Plus, the CORE looks much like a regular stethoscope if you like that look and you don't need a hearing aid to use it. If you have hearing loss and are using a hearing aid, I would recommend looking into the CORE. You may want to check out the Thinklabs stethoscope (which doesn't look like a traditional stethoscope but more expensive yet has more amplification. Check out this comparison chart for stethoscope best with hearing loss: www.amphl.org/comparison-table
      Hope that helps...it might be worth asking your audiologist as well if you have one.
      Finally, good luck with your surgery...please reach out for support as well. www.hearingloss.org/ is a good resource.

And then, there's no change that I can use hearing aid we just waiting for new technology in the future. Anyway, I bought 3M Littman Classic 3 monitor stetescope. Is that fine? My concerns is the background noise, more sounds/loud since I only have 1 ear working. Focusing in the sound of lungs and pulses area. Thank u please advice me more. Ahyee of California
