Hello, can it connect to my ARC AI 1000 power plus BTE?
Really glad to have found your channel! As a medical student with hearing loss, your content has been incredibly helpful. Please keep uploading! :> I'm also planning to buy the EKO Core 500, and I hope it will work well for me too! 💗
The volume buttons on my connector have never worked.
Can I pair Eko DUO or Core to my iPhone 13 to listen to heart sounds (dogs & cats) and then stream those heart sounds to my Jabra Pro20 hearing aids via my iPhone 13 (I already listen to phone calls using my Jabra hearing aids)?
I believe the Jabra Pro 20 hearing aids have Bluetooth LE, so you should be able to pair the stethoscopes through the iPhone to your hearing aids to hear bodily sounds and view the tracing on the Eko App.
Hi All, i am from india and i need your valuable inputs. i am using "phonak audeo b50-direct" and its 5 years old. is there any way i can connect to windows 10/11 laptop ( even with any supporting device).
I wonder if your hearing aids have Bluetooth capability. I can only assume they do since they are 5 years old. If your laptop has Bluetooth, pairing should be possible. But if you don't have Bluetooth hearing aids, you could research the Phonak ComPilot II streamer and pair it that way. Here are some instructions from Phonak. www.phonak.com/content/dam/phonak/HQ/en/solution/accessories/phonak_com_pilot/documents/Quick_Guide_ComPilot_connecting_to_computer_029-0267.pdf Otherwise, I would call Phonak directly or an Audiologist.
@@healthyhearingloss9953 Thanks for your reply. Yes mine has Bluetooth and i am using for my android mobile since 6 years ( purchased on Feb, 2018). but for windows its not deducted. i am not using any other external /intermediate devices. as i see the guide you send, i need to buy both the Sennheiser USB adapter and ComPilot. same products are not available in india it seems and i think in my case its too expansive for this old hearing Aids. Please suggest the possibilities. Please suggest which Hearing Aid is suggested to buy for this to connect. my known one is suggesting "Philips Hearlink 3030 MNR T R Hearing Aid" But i think this also dont support.
Wish the Resound model was as nice as the Phonak.

I contact them through chat support to inquire. And they told me they don't have parts for a replacement of the battery and EVEN IF i asked them i am willing to pay for repair service, they told me that they cannot do anything. Again eko core can do its job BUT AFTER YOUR WARRANTY PERIOD they do not have any replacementa for battery and THEY DO NOT OFFER repair. It is just a waste of money.

I checked out your UA-cam channel and found your content very nice and thumbnail construction perfect. But the problem is you didn't SEO your video properly due to which your video is not getting more views. If you do video SEO your video will be on the top of the search list and your audience will increase. I also noticed that your video tag is not using SEO keywords, title-description-tag is not SEO friendly, title is too short, I can fix these if you want. And I will SEO your videos to reach your real audience.
Funny? ABSOLUTELY!
Dear, I saw your UA-cam channel video and understood it was Very nice. I want to be a regular viewer of your channel. But your channel has something, I want to show the problems. You have 1.5K subscribers but the video doesn't get more views and subscribers because your video is not SEO. It is responsible for: 1. Channel videos are not properly SEO 2. Videos are not reaching the people 3. There is no rank tag in the Video 4. Video SEO score is 43 out of 100 but SEO score should be 95+ to rank video 5. Video tag and channel tag not good and other technical problems If you solve this problem you will get many views.
Hi. I am helping a fellow teacher with a student who is hard of hearing. The student is getting ready to take her CNA exam. Do you know if the teacher could listen through the attached earpiece while the student is listening through her Bluetooth hearing aids?
Hi @jessicagourley6021, This is an interesting question. You sparked my interest. I will test it out with my co-workers to see if it's possible.
Hello ma'am. Up for investing in a good stethoscope compatible with bluetooth hearing aids. Did you already review this one? I would even appreciate a written review if you have one. It is of great help to me. Thank you.
Hello @sagunkarki2049, I will be doing a review of the stemoscope soon. stay tuned :)
Thank you for your help ma'am ☺️
@@healthyhearingloss9953, fingers crossed for it! 35yo physician here (hearing loss from 4-5yo), with Phonak Audeo Paradise on one ear and CI on another :) I am especially interested about Bluetooth latency, durability for disinfectants wipes (I work in ICU) and battery life. Bluetooth latency was quite significant with Hagibis dongle attached to StethoMe stethoscope (e.g. patient breath - 1second - I hear it).
I have cochlear nucleus 8 I’m having trouble on how to connect mine to my hearing aid
I am not familiar with the cochlear nucleus 8 but here is a video I found on UA-cam to help you start troubling shooting. ua-cam.com/video/mLTeqbaAkL0/v-deo.html . I recommend talking with your audiologist to help you connect to the Eko app on your phone which should allow you to stream through the processor or hearing aid. Good luck!
Thank you for the review. Including all the types of setups. You're the best.
Thank you for this. It has helped me enormously. My hearing loss is caused by coeliac disease with autoimmune sensorineural hearing loss, added to that, an attack of labyrinthitis that lasted 3 months (the most hideous experience. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy), which left me with tinnitus. I didn’t realise how bad my hearing loss was until it became common practice to wear face masks. It showed me how much I was relying on lip reading. Time to accept it and get hearing aids. Preferably purple, with rhinestones!
Phonak and Oticon make purple in their pediatric line. But in the last few years, Phonak have added red pink, green and turquoise (caribbean pirate) to their adult line, which is great because the adult line has way more features and much bluetooth support. Oticon now has pink and army green in their adult line. If you can compromise on the colour a bit, I’d recommend that route. I have purple from the pediatric line (Phonak) because the only colour available in the adult line when I bought mine were beige, sparkly beige (champagne), brown, black, grey, sparkly grey (silver) and white.
This is a Wonderful “Run Down” and so easy to understand, Thank you, Mine is in the Mail, Very Excited, Good Luck Thanks !
Hi, DD. I really enjoyed this video! I do have a question, though. I'm scheduled for my CNA exam tomorrow (BP is one of the skills), and this device is new territory for me. The nurse evaluator would not be able to do what she usually does: listen on another stethoscope while I perform the skill. I must be within a few points of her reading or fail the skill. One failure means failure for the entire exam, and I only have two chances left without having to repeat the whole CNA program. I do not have the time or money to do that. We are NOT allowed to use the app for the BP results. Do you have any videos that show you determining the systole and diastole numbers while using the Littman Digital CORE Stethoscope? Thank you so much for any help, and I will continue to follow you on Healthy Hearing Loss. You are kind and witty, and you are everything I want to be as (hopefully) a future RN.
Hi @bridgidmccalister4476, I am sorry for my delayed response. I hope all went well with your exam. There are no visual data for systolic or diastole on the Littmann CORE Stethoscope and it doesn't show on the newest version, Eko CORE 500, either but with technology advancing as fast as it does, I have a feeling someone will create it in the future. Right now, BPs can only be heard with these stethoscopes. I recommend talking with the school's disability/accessibility department to discuss accommodations. Perhaps they would allow a automatic blood pressure machine. You are protected on the American Disability Act.
Does the TV connector work better with power supplied by house power vs USB connection to the TV? Thank you, John
Hi John, I use the power supplied by house power. I have not used the USB connection to the TV.
I herd your heart beat lol
Hi there I just got the littman core and was wondering does it automatically come with the bluetooth or do i need to buy the adapter always ?
Hi @user-oj6kf8xq8f, the littmann CORE connects directly to the Eko app on a iPhone/android through bluetooth, no adapter needed.
Thank you so much for posting this!! I’m a new nursing student who’s been struggling with moderate hearing loss for low frequency sounds. I felt so discouraged & like I couldn’t do my vitals because of my hearing loss. I’m happy to find there is another medical professional like me. It means a lot and thank you again for you help and recommendations ❤️
Sometimes they still cut out for some seconds! We can’t do any better than we have!
This is such good information. I had to accept this before finally getting a hearing aide at 40. It was life changing!!
I love this device (I own three of them). However, I cannot get the buttons to work - extremely frustrating.
I have a question. I'm trying to hook my. TV connector to my soundbar I tried least 25 times what am I doing wrong? The light on the connector continuously blinks. Yellow getting very frustrated with this I called my hearing a doctor and he wants a $100 to help me. And I called the t. V connector Hotline and they were not very helpful. They said call my doctor.
Hi @wmslaven, I am not sure if you were able to figure out the problem with connectivity. I am sorry that audiologist couldn't provide you with some quick trouble shooting options before charging you. Maybe you can find some frequently asked questions here: product-support.phonak.com/s/?language=en_US&tabset-7da13=4a897

I do plan to review the stemoscope. I had unfortunately misplaced it and recently found it. I have to use it again before I review. Sorry for the delay.
@@healthyhearingloss9953, fingers crossed! I am curious especially about Bluetooth latency, durabiity for disinfectant wipes (the USB C connector is uncovered) and battery life after one full charge.
Hello, I have a conduction type sensorineural type hearing loss what should I buy
Can I suggest that you get professional support from someone like a hearing therapist. Your audiologist might recommend someone.
Hi @slaere/1762, I would recommend talking to your audiologist because of the mixed hearing loss type. Many audiologists are not educated on stethoscopes but they are experts on hearing aids and can reach out to their colleagues to see if others are knowledgable about what stethoscope works best with your hearing aids and hearing loss type. Stethoscopes and hearing aids are still a learning curve for all of us. :)
Thank you, it's getting harder to use my old esthetoscope and im looking for something to make my life easier at work....
I think you did goof again sweetie. You do not have the ear pieces placed in your ears in order to hear any sounds. You have it placed around your neck instead of in your ears.
How can a medical professional or student with hearing loss get the stethoscope for his studies?
I like the TV connector, but there are some things that bother me about it. The first are the buttons on the device itself, they are the worst! I don't know home many time I have stood in from of it and pressed the power button over and over and over and it doesn't respond at all. Same issue with the volume buttons. I wish they were just simple physical buttons. The other issue I have is the volume adjustment on the hearing aids themselves. Using the button on my hearing aids doesn't really adjust the volume. The buttons adjust the slider in the app between the surround noise and the streaming content. So when you press up on the volume button on the hearing aids, it actually slides more towards the streaming content, and you hear less of the surrounding noise. I wish there was an option in the app to set the buttons to adjust the actual volume.
My audiologist referred me on to my hearing therapist , to determine which stethoscope to use with my Bluetooth hearing aids. I've learned a lot from your video, as to why the referral was made. Thanks !
Have you seen your therapist yet and made a decision? I have Bluetooth hearing aids too and the Thinklabs looks appealing, but it sounds like you have to turn off and on your hearing aids every single time to link, which would be a no go for me. I think the Eko just has to pair once with your phone, which I always have on me, but I’m still looking into that to see if it’s true.
@@jaquevius yes, the hearing therapist liaised with the hearing aid makers and local rep. While my hearing aids do Bluetooth to most tech devices, unfortunately they are too small to pick up some frequencies from the stethoscope. Therefore, I'm needing a set of headphones to Bluetooth to the Thinklab stethoscope so that I can keep my hearing aids in place. It's a bit disappointing, but I'll figure out how to manage.
@@lovelearn5158 bummer. I just ordered the ThinkLab so I'll try it out. I thought about the headphones too, but probably looks a bit goofy. oh well
