Never played x-wing but Tie Fighter was the bomb in the day. Flying cockpit mode in those later missions with huge imperial destroyers and loads of other Tie's was the pinnacle of gaming.
Fun time to be a Star Wars fan. Toxic fans are a loud minority on Twitter. The majority of the fandom is kind and excited. We can disagree about some of the content respectfully but in the end we all fans.
Agreed! Any large enough fandom will have a vocal, toxic minority, but I honestly find it easier than ever to ignore that as long as I'm enjoying myself. I don't love everything that has happened with Star Wars in recent years, but there's enough great stuff and I have enough of a history with the franchise that I'm still excited to see what's next!
@jshowa o wow mandolorian!!!! The only one that people liked. And I didn't bring it up because they used him to ruin boba Fett. The whole universe is fucked. No one likes the new trilogy. And she is behind all of it. She has the final say. Even Luke Skywalker himself doesn't like it and George Lucas!!!!
@jshowa o wrong she has the Final say lol that's her position if she wants someone else in any role she can make it happen. No one liked the new trilogy don't even. It is a joke.
@@theASMRnerd I had something very stressful happen yesterday and was freaking out about it. As I ofteb do, I went to your channel to help me relax and this was uploaded about 20 seconds earlier (before notifications even went out). Synchronicity, I guess!
The old Star Wars game of the 90s had so much character. Even the ones that weren't amazing still had, as you say, a specific charm. It was a fascinating time for Star Wars because nobody knew about the prequels yet, but we were still getting new SW content via other media, like games, books, and comics.
@@miamisbest1992 Oh heck yeah, those all look so awesome! I hadn't seen the electric desert design yet, that one is so rad!! You're right, it's super hard to pick haha, too many good ones.
@@theASMRnerd you definitely should! they have a couple now. I really want to get Bounty Hunter for the PS4 but prices have gone up from resellers of course
I bought these 2 same editions from LRG, still unopened as I just can't do it, I love these games too much. Still also have the original edition of xwing vs tie fighter CD roms
New editions, released last year. The art and such is original, but a specific package like this never existed back in the day. I'd love to have the original collectors editions as well, but those are significantly harder to come by.
Yeah, I kinda feel the same way, but I was careful and managed to open them without damaging them too much. But I can definitely see why you'd prefer to not have them.
These days, I usually do one or two integrations with them per month. They've been an awesome sponsor, super chill and easy to work with, and I like their products! I consider that a win-win! I've seen a few other channels work with them, though not ASMR. I know some viewers were familiar with their stuff before I started working with them, too.
Like any big fandom, there are some toxic people, but Star Wars is so huge that you're totally free to engage with it in your own way. The classic trilogy movies are absolutely the best place to start, just enjoy them for what they are! If you like 'em, then check out the prequel trilogy, and maybe some games too! Jedi Fallen Order is a great recent game set in the Star Wars universe, highly recommended.
Watch the Clone Wars animated show too! In my opinion it's the best star wars medium to enjoy fantastic writing and every episode is fun to watch. You'll find a bunch of great ppl in the fandom trust me the toxic ones are just a loud minority
Never too late! I've been a mega star wars fan for nearly my entire 35 years on this earth and even I still learn new things about the lore all the time. It's so deep and has something for everyone. There's always toxicity and people who take things WAY too seriously in any major fandom group. Ultimately you have to just learn to ignore it.

Such great games. I remember in Jedi Academy I'd always use the console command that made your lightsabre dismember enemies.
Been watching your content for years now Nick! Keep up the great work!
Really appreciate the kind words and support, thanks Cory!
Your Star wars contents are one of my favourites for many-many years!!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy this one :D

Absolutely, it was a mind-blowing experience as a kid, and the games still hold up!
I love this type of content with your whispering voice ! What a Time to be a SW fan. Thank you Nick, continue the great work. A french viewer.

The majority of fans actually don't like Kathleen's star wars!!!!

I really appreciate that, thank you!! I hope you enjoy the shirts! What designs did you get?
@@theASMRnerd Overflow, campgrounds and electric desert. It was a tough decision since most of them look awesome.

@@theASMRnerd Well if and when I decide to buy more I'll be sure to thank you lol.
I preordered the limited run Star Wars: The force unleashed premium edition for the switch, can’t wait for that!

I understand the desire to keep them pristine too! Yours will definitely retain their value better than mine haha.
this was a pleasure
Wow, really nice editions, thanks for sharing. Would love to see your collection of boxes pc games!
Thank you man!! Yeah that would be a fun video, I should pull out some of my old boxes for a vid! Thanks for the suggestion :)
are these new repro or were they available back in the day

Now lets see if you can finish even the first tour in X-wing, Nerd.
No seriously how do you deal with all the interceptors in mission 7?
I fired up TIE Fighter the other day and let's say my pilot skills have atrophied significantly since the good ol' days, so it's gonna be a struggle 😅
Republic Commando is nostalgic? No way!
>17 years old
Oh
Although I love them putting it in the blister pack, I would hate opening it

Are you watching Obi wan?
Only seen the first episode so far, haven't had time to watch more, but I absolutely plan on watching the whole series!
