tip: normal shredders will leave you alone if you get too close to the void (i have used this trick with my mini trijet alot and won that way *my trijet has no weapons lol*)
i mainly use offsite rocket pods. the premise is simple : make a array of ground-based guided missiles, motorlock them into the ground to render them unfindable/unkillable, and only unmotorlock them out when needed. this way, you can have explosives delivered to your location without having to strap them on your spaceship/aircraft, effectively turning a puny helicopter into a deadly missile strike command center.
Pro tip: strap multiple conveyor drives to a jet, add a phac ton of guided missiles onto said jet and then fly either really high or really far from the main map. Then, fire the guided missiles at shredders and spam box car builds because let's be honest, we hate both of them.

Make a gyro build (though I suggest you don't copy a tutorial block by block, they tend to be extremely weak) and fight back. As mentioned in the video, work with others in the server, or maybe even others elsewhere. Do what you can do, and soon they'll be nothing but a minor inconvenience.

I have funni idea: explosive flares You know spread bombs, right? Now make one, only with one TNT each bomb and add 1x1 delta wing, then place it on back of your aircraft and launch it. More you add = bigger cloud of TNT (Recomended for airships or heavy planes)

just my tri prop plane it small and can fly with one wing and can dive in water the speed is 220 when all prop are on just strap 6 guns on it and shoot at shredder and it hard to get hit by shredder that how and it wing spand it 16 blocks
Also, they so poorly against small builds that. I have seen multiple rage because they couldn’t get the small little jet. So using a small jet could also be the way to go
Theres another way of killing annoying shredders: Counter-Shredders/Missiles (you just build your own shredder/camera missile and deploy it when a shredder user spawns their shredder)
i also made a nuclear weapon by modifying a balljoint shredder and putting alot of motor lock tnt on it (200 to be exact) its really op againest shredders
if anyone saw that black and white shredder on the bottom (when he showed shreds) it is one of my outdated shredders and it still obliterated gudbuilder
