It's a funny thing about the whole reactor culture. I've seen so many reactors, and often you (as a viewer) find yourself rooting for people as they find success, or as they drop off to deal with life, have kids, move, etc. Everybody here is rooting for you, and it's so good to see your progress.

Very inspirational, James! Who knows how many people you may have helped with your honesty about your own tribulations. Continue to look in the mirror. Continue to believe in yourself. Continue the journey. God Bless you, my friend!

Good message JB, many of us go through struggles nowadays due to inflation if not personal matters that prevents us from trying to better ourselves, and last year was probably the worst for me, hopefully you succeed bro in all your future endeavors.

Yeah you got it. Surround yourself with positives, you have plenty of options, like put a nice picture on that grey wall, or stand a screen along it, to inspire yourself too. Or paint a pic yourself? Are there any hobbies you can try, do you like cooking, (leftovers can be great when you are too tired to cook. Lasagne etc, freezes well, cut up a big one, bought or home-made, freeze servings, can thaw all day in the fridge, then eat cold or nuke it as you like it, my bro does that with cheesecake. He likes blender drinks too.) downstairs if messy, do you have a car space? Is your couch comfy? Do you go out to eat at places and meet folks at times. Go for a walk, buy lunch and go sit in a park to read or meet folk? Show us your city? Are there any book shops handy, or a city library? Play mini golf? Swim? Whatever makes you happy. Lose the weight you want to, lift some weights at home? you don't have to bulk up or. You can maybe try wall climbing later? Does your working life, work out to have a pet, if your landlord would ok that? Or get a plush big cat? Maybe walk a friendly neighbours dog for him, or go with? Gets those steps in. Or do you get time to travel? Or is there a harbour close by, where you can go fishing on a boat? Or just sit and look at the water, breathe in clean air. Do you have chairs or stools at your kitchen bench yet? Second hand can work too. You can get a few things over time, or just enjoy your life now? I like quick, easy, 4-ingredients recipes, by Kim McCosker, books available online, prep in 10 mins, let the oven finish it, and eat well. Keep your strength up, eat healthy, no need to go overboard. All the best.

Really appreciate this video…going through bit of a tough time at the moment but I know it won’t always be like this

I often wish as the years pass, and I get older that I'd done so many things different whilst young enough to change things. Whilst it may not have necessarily been better ultimately, at least I'd have been doing what I really wanted to do back then.
People tell it's never too late, but by the time I'd potentially have completed some further education, plus the cost of doing so, the returns would be hard to quantify. On the other hand, I'd be doing what I've always wanted to do, albeit over 3 decades later than planned!

I know a woman who is almost 80 years old and going for her PhD. She’s a true inspiration in the concept of it never being too late. Good luck with whatever you decide you want to pursue. 🙏

@@Chinachik I have a friend who is a law lecturer and keeps telling me to come to his university and do a PhD. Don't have a degree as yet. Getting the latter is a question of money and time at the moment, but I would like to do it.

One word of advice, buy cheap, buy only what you have the money for, NEVER go in debt, and life will be sweet, once in debt getting out of bed is hard

Hey man, great to see you so empowered! I’m not a close follower of you but occasionally visit your channel. Great that you managed to turn your life around and are starting to thrive. Much respect for your journey! Wish you all the best!
You should definitely check out Glenn Jones - I am somebody (1983). I wanted to suggest this inspirational and motivating classic 80s groove during your time of struggles. But the better for you, you did it without it. And you that I'm listening to in this video now could even write that song yourself, the lyrics just so closely match your newly found state of mind! You sound so wise. Of course I would love to see a reaction video of it ;).

I did a search to see if you ever did a react video to Don McLean's "Vincent" because I saw you did his "American Pie." I highly recommend it.

VINCENT had a terrible life really. They think some of it was due to a poisonous tonic he used to drink. I think it was full of lead or some such element.
