As I mentioned before......I truly and sincerely think you would make a wonderful pastor! Think about it. You understand human nature and feelings ....and you’re intuitive. This is just my opinion but I know one thing...or two....I love your reactions and have been following you for over 2 years.....and I would come to hear your sermon every week 😁😘🥰😍👍

    Amira has an old soul.
She won Holland's got talent at age 9.
Andre's invited her to attend a masters class. She performed this at age 10.
Amira is still going strong and is such a humble and gracious young woman.
She also contributes half of of what she earns to build school playgrounds in South Africa where she lives.

She does have a beautiful voice, here at 10 years old. She is now 16 and still has an incredible voice. You said youth change the world. Amira from the start formed a foundation to help build play grounds in South Africa, for the schools. She donates a large part of earnings for this cause. I believe the number of playgrounds is about 15 so far. The girl puts her heart into her singing and to help the less fortunate. She is a class act

This performance was the perfect storm. A totally charming singer with an angelic voice. Wonderful orchestra and staging. And the perfect fit of the singer to the subject of the song. This aria is sung, many times, by a mature soprano. But the actual song is supposed to be a young girl telling her father about the boy she has met and that if she cannot be with him she wants to throw herself into the River Arno and drown. This performance was perfection!

Like Angelina Jordan, Amira cares. She is building playgrounds all over S Africa for all the children who don't have one.
One of my favorites is her duet with Patrizio, singing O Sole Mio. Some have already mentioned her singing Amazing Grace. Also, you will do yourself an injustice, if you do watch her singing Flowers, in a duet.

André Rieu is a Dutch violinist who helds annually these outdoor concerts in his hometown. People travel all over the world to see them, mostly from Europe. They are also sent live in cinemas and I was just there to see the best of clips from past years because big events are cancelled for now. Rieu is famous for bringing out surprise performers, sometimes they're known like Jermaine Jackson or David Hasselhoff driving the KITT car through the stage, but mostly the guests are total strangers who happen to be the best singers you've ever heard.

    WOW.
Andre Rieu's concerts make classical music fun and accessible to "regular people." He's very popular in Europe.
But JB, don't get embarrassed about your soul responding to music; there are all kinds of music that can do that. This is what art does: it gives form and expression to things that are hard to release or reach through the rational mind...it goes through your heart. I was moved too. I'd never heard this either.
I looked up the WIKI on it to understand where it came from and what was being expressed. When you read this, it's amazing when you think about where your thoughts and emotions took you without understanding a word of Italian. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_mio_babbino_caro

If you want to hear just how much Amira's voice has improved in just several years, I strongly recommend listening to her duet w/ Corlea Botha, singing "The Flower Duet" live from a venue in South Africa. Very possibly the most beautiful composition/performance I have ever heard.

Amira sings this classic Neapolitan song from 1898 with Patrizio Buanne a neapolitan baritone.. A stunning duet of a classic Italian song.. ttps://ua-cam.com/video/dDESzUuZuC0/v-deo.html
This is just as stunning as O Mio . They sing as a duet and the chemistry between this 38 year old man and 12 year old girl is just amazing..Amira is quite the entertainer and Patrizio is very taken by her talent and personality. Another performance with over 29 million views in just a few years..
    Another choice for you.. ua-cam.com/video/z_WyjEj5DW8/v-deo.html
This is another incredibly beautiful performance by Amira who is still 12 years old in this performance...She sings Nella Fantasia by Ennio Morricone. Its a score from a movie. The Intro is a portion of a score of another movie. This takes place right during Amiras' sweet spot at age 12, just listen to the richness of her voice, all of the subtle overtones and undertones in her beautiful voice. After this point in time her voice enters into its change as she begins to mature. If anything her voice becomes even more beautiful with and expanding range and increasing resonance.
I would recommend moving along with Amira as she ages and evolves or you will miss many incredible performances as Amira and her voice evolve throughout her early years and into her teen years up until today. Enjoy your journey and keep the tissues handy I think you will find yourself overwhelmed with emotion throughout most of her performances.

This isn't a learned talent. She imitated people from youtube but you can't tell me god's hand didn't have something to do with it. It's not like she's 50 and practiced for 30 years! wow!

Amira is a Dutch girl but now lives in South Africa. She has performed all over the world in the last 7 years. She has just turned 16 and is still a full time student in high school. She is also doing very well in her 'other' passion, athletics. When she won Hollands Got Talent, as a 9 year old, in 2013 she set up her foundation charity in South Africa, and the primary function of this foundation is building playgrounds for young black children in the townships. She has an fully international fan base who are really devoted to her.. You said you'd like to listen to her more recent stuff... well she has managed, during the lockdown in south africa, to put together a concert. It will be her first concert this year, but also her very first SOLO concert... It will be live streamed over the week end of Friday 9 Sept (from 9.00 am South African Time... GMT + 2) to Sunday 9.00pm (South African Time) GMT + 2)... here is the link to the website doing the broadcast and ticketing. (prices are very low) and the profits will go to her foundation... optog.co.za/en/e-kaartjies/amira-willighagen-dream-with-me-2/?fbclid=IwAR1cAbaI-EQ8YjULrSQOIp64N4F-Bo6FiAZS_fHYE268GPyzNLHES8lWjYw

I just finished watching you react to Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma and this. You and I and the audience are decades apart, different backgrounds, different languages, different cultures, even different continents, yet I saw you and other people in the audience have the same reaction, the music spoke to our emotions and we all heard. Music is a universal language. Keep your ears and mind open.
    Thank you

Love your channel and it is so wonderful to see your reaction you are so genuine. I have subscribed and never have subscribed before to one of these reaction channels. Look at the youtube video of her singing at Holland's talent show. It was the first time she was really out in public and she was still pretty raw and just self trained at that point. but for me that made her performance even better. It has great feeling and soul and the reactions of the judges are priceless. I will try to give you some songs to listen to. Your whole life will be different now that you have discovered this music and the beauty created by mere humans. You can go to a concert or opera for 10 dollars. Yes you sit in the back but who cares. Experience it live.

Jesus. I've listen to a decent amount of opera. Not one for the sensations. But this blew me away. -- You don't want to be 'one of those emotional types of reactioners'. I bawled my eyes out and started believing angels walk among us, even if I am not religious.
