Thankyou after not being able to connect after changing my broadband provider I was about to give up until watched you instructions ...so I uninstalled the app reinstalled it did the pin thing and reconnected no problem ...thankyou

Mine still wont work unless I'm at home and connect to the camera on a network, but obviously won't work when I'm away from home, has worked great up until getting a new wifi box. Really stressing me out and customer service with clever dog is useless. If its not one of there list of questions you have no chance.

Good morning, any chance you can post what battery size you have and how long it lasts on average or when it records 24hrs? Also what are the notification options? I see it records on detected motion but how does it notify you when motion record starts? Does it need the SD card? Some can operate without the recording and just use Live.
300000 size battery, last for 16 hours as a quick fix for short durations.

Hi we have just connected and set up the camera but when we go out of the house (shopping/ kids day out) we can not veiw the camera what so ever.
We can only access and veiw the camera when at home on the WiFi signal.
Surely we should be able to access it when we are out and about???
Mobile data and everything is turned on unsure if we are doing something wrong.
Try going onto your setting and click on the app and make sure the mobile data is turned on

Hi! I hope you see this comment. I have that kind of camera, but it doesn't let me click playback unless I buy their cloud storage. Is there anyway where I can review what's happening through out the day without buying their cloud storage? I have sd card in it, but I don't know how to view the recordings.

How do adjust volume on it and stop the feedback from your phone
To stop the notification click on the clever dog app then click on the “home” button in the top left of the of screen then “settings” then click on “notification” to turn off or on.
The sound will be adjusted on you phone volume

Hi, I have set up my camera and it works when I'm in the house but no matter what I do I can not get it to work when I am outside the house. I have reset it in every way possible and am absolutely stuck!! I've just moved house and not sure if it's the wifi?? But like I say it works when I am home?? Can you help? Thanks a lot
I would guess it’s the WiFi signal not reaching the location of the camera outside.
See if there’s a way of having your WiFi router closer to your outside camera location.
You can also get WiFi repeaters that plug into your power sockets and extend your WiFi signal to another location In the house with a power socket (the WiFi signal travels through the power cable of the house)

Hi I bought this years ago n it's great , but not used it in years . Q - when I've reinstalled clever dog ,it's asking for me to sign up or sign in to cloud , any password I try it says it is incorrect. Slightly frustrated here as I have a prowler coming near home. Help needed n thanks in advance
Reset the camera and create a new account if your still having issues

Thanks. There will be a continuous blue light on the front. Some times it takes a few goes clicking on the App to access the camera in my experience. You could try setting up the camera again if the camera is still having trouble or move the camera closer to the WiFi router and see if it still does it.
In regards to the pictures, I believe the picture will be sent to your phone showing you what the camera had detected (when the camera detects movement)
You can click onto the app to see recorded footage
Is it possible that in 1 cam, multiple phone can see the view?

'Hi, I have blue light flashing but can't connect to WIFI. I can see DOG* **** on my wifi setting on my phone but underneath it says no internet access. Any suggestions?
This has happened before to me, we have the app working fine again now.
Have you had the camera working fine before or is this the first time setting up?
I ask because we had to sign in on the app to what we had set up before.
You can try deleting the app and reinstalling.

Hi, I have two cameras that have been working fine, now suddenly I only sometimes get an alert also, I don't have any photo or video when I click onto the camera. All I have is the fixed animated photo. I have tried to reset but still the same. Can anyone help? TIA
try have the camera close to your router and try again so it roles out the signal issue
i keep hearing my neighbours dog barking through the mic on this camera is ther any way i can mute that cant seem to figure it out
lynda clancy when your looking at the App on your phone and you can see what your camera is looking at, at the bottom of the image there are 4 icons, click on the second icon which looks like a speaker and the sound should go off. So the speak Symbol will now show a X next to it.

Hold down the WiFi symbol on the camera till the lights flashing blue and try again

You can place the sd card in a card reader and insert into your pc or laptop to see the footage.

which part you having problems with? is It the part where you go into your wifi network and select DOG ******** then go back onto your app to continue.
Pwinkle hi yes it’s weird had it set ok at weekend then saying camera not live. I deleted everything to start again now I can’t get passed the blue light won’t flash to let me connect to WiFi.
Make sure you press hard enough to press the bottom to get the blue light flashing. I say that because I had the same issue and ended up having to use a hard object to press into it to get the blue light to flash! I ended up cutting the rubber away so I could get to the button easier.
Also try your WiFi on your phone turned OFF when on the app and setting up if the issue is picking your WiFi router or cleverdog
May clever dog cam is not working it need internet connections without password.,

Hello can you help me please? After having Clever dog for about 5 months and working perfectly it has stopped and now flashes only blue and no matter what I do I just don't get them into the net anymore
Sounds like it’s reset itself, set the camera up again as if it is new. It flashes blue when looking to pair up with your phone. Try the whole set up again
@@pwinkle I already tried it. I have already rested zig times. I already restarted the router. It flashes and flashes and flashes and nothing else happens. A short while ago there was a connection. Then it said "is not connected to the internet".
Try going into the app and pressing the bottom right + symbol to add Device, then click on the left icon that looks like a camera, then the lot left camera icon, the light on the camera will be flashing blue, go to your settings and click on WiFi and pick the DOG-****** to connect to password is 11111111.
Watch this video from 3:15 to show you the set up.
See if setting the camera up again will make it work.

Notifications are blank no pictures
You click on the notification message that pops up on your phone and it should take you to the picture message you have from what the camera has seen. To find these click on the app then clink on the message icon in the top right screen
can I watch my real time video only when I am at home? Can't I watch when I am away from home?
You can see your camera when your away form home, you can use you 4G or another WiFi elsewhere
I’m not even able to connect mine. It says to press allow access to location “always.” But my only options are “never” “while using the app” and “once” I reset my location and privacy settings and still nothing..
go to the setting on your phone, then "location" the "location services" then scroll through the Apps and go to "clever dog" then "allow location to "always" or "while Using the App" should be fine. try that
