      It bothers me that in the eyes of most people, you are guilty until proven innocent. @@misskeirstin6355 I'm a defense attorney lol, again, the fact that all charges were dismissed is telling to me. You are correct that sometimes the victim doesn't want to relive their experience, but the fact that all charges were wiped out is telling to me. Usually it would be plead out to one charge so that the Defendant still faces sex offender consequences, what it tells me in my experience (for what it's worth) is the evidence against him was lacking. Again, i do not know the facts, and assume you do not either, but I still find it troubling you are presuming him guilty based on what he was charged with, that was my only point.

    He's weird!

    • @duffman18
      @duffman18 5 місяців тому +1

      Something like 90% of cases in the US end up with plea deals, because the judicial system in the US is chronically underfunded, and the US is by a long long long way the nation state who have imprisoned the most prisoners in the entire history of the planet, out of every single country in history both historical and contemporary, both in terms of general outright numbers, but also as a per capita rate. Like, countries like the soviet union and communist China have nothing on the US, the US is far more draconian, it's not even close, the US jails more people than the other 9 countries in the top 10 combined.
      So there's just not enough time for every single case or even a majority of cases to actually go to trial. The system can't handle it. So they get as many cases to end in a plea deal as possible as it's the only way to process all of those cases, and it's the only way for the prisons to be able to cope, because if they just imprisoned everyone instead of using plea deals, the prisons would be overflowing and at over max capacity within only a few days.
      It's ridiculous. People constantly are going to prison for victimless crimes like having a few grams of weed, while serial rapists like this guy never have to spend a day in prison, until like a complete moron he decides to break the law again while on probation.

    I’m honestly really irritated about how cool the cops were to that kid. Especially given that he’s on parole and has a history of disgusting crimes. I have been treated far worse by police over speeding. Going 30 in a 25. & I wish I was joking.
    He was smirking the whole time and they were acting like they were homies when this idiot was impersonating an officer pulling people over. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad they got to him before he put others in even more of a dangerous situation. BUT, If there’s anytime to treat a criminal LIKE A CRIMINAL, it was here. This pissed me off.

      they were probably just trying to not escalate the situation given that he was cooperating

    i used to work with an ex-cop. the phrase, " all the sudden " must be taught in the academy, bc he said it all the time and so does this cop....

    If he had blue and red I’d call him an “impersonator” but yellow and white? When has anyone seen a cop with yellow white? Idk what his intentions are , but police impersonation is a stretch…….. the probation is extremely concerning though.

    What sort of mental illness makes you wanna pretend to be a cop? Like that officer said, you could pull over somebody who hates cops and now suddenly you’re getting murdered all because you’re a weirdo

    He already overpowered one victim and then tried to intimidate her. He’s on a power grab again with this siren. His shit eating grin tells you all you need to know-he’s not used to hearing no! The narrator is correct, he’s just getting started. 😮

    This has to be some kind of mental illness. I've seen way too many cop impersonators and I feel like they always get a way lighter charge than what they should. What these impersonators are doing is incredibly dangerous and undermines the already tenuous trust that many people have in law enforcement already.

    He has multiple charges on his record AND is on probation.... at 19. Then he, figuratively and literally, puts a flashing light on himself to expose him doing stupid shit.... while on probation. God, if stupidity itself was criminal, this man would be in for life...
