Tala? You mean character who played one role in the narrative and once she fulfilled said role the writes decided to kill her off. Also writers did not give her enough character development to make her death compelling
Major props to Tala's droid as well. When it shut off it was because it died. It knew it was going to die, so it used the last bits of its life to become a shield for Tala, which gave her enough time to set up her sacrifice.
Vader didn't give her any respect. He was really driving in the point how utterly powerless she is against him and how much of a complete open book she is to him.

That’s where I disagree. From the previous episode they needed to address how he could still say in Episode IV that he was still the learner when they last met. I think this episode answered that because this is likely their last meeting and Obi-Wan is still schooling him. The flashbacks attest to the lesson he was teaching him before & continues to deliver in this episode.

OMG, I really loved Tala's character. So far, she's been the one who's had the most success bringing back General Kenobi from the brink of despair, reminding him what's important; reminding him about duty and honor and the importance of protecting others. I knew there was a high probability she wouldn't make it, so I wasn't surprised, but it was just awful watching her go - and NED-B trying to protect her with the last of his strength... very moving. Also, I don't think Vader was respecting Reva or giving her a sporting chance. I think he was mocking and taunting her - showing her that he could toy with her all day, and that she had no chance whatsoever of besting him, and never did. This is definitely the most cruel we've seen of Vader in all the movies.
Most Inquisators were once Jedis themselves or worked for the Order and were turned to the dark side and forced to hunt down the remaining Jedi. The Grand Inquisator was a Jedi temple guard who lost faith in the Order when he watched Ahsoka get falsely accused of betrayal.
Judging from Anakin's ponytail and the calmness on the planet, my guess is the flashbacks are probably 'Attack of the Clones' era but right before the clone wars started.
Obi-Wan also mentioned at the end that he was still his Padawan, and he obviously has the braid. I was almost convinced it was before the Clone Wars animated show but after Attack of the Clones, since Anakin probably still had a brief period of time before he was Knighted. But I think the intent was to be before the film’s events.
I find it hilarious that people are screaming plot armor when Reva is still alive, yet completely forgot Vader survived being burnt alive and Darth maul surviving being cut in half. hell even the grand inquisitor is alive 😂
Maul survived getting bisected. Anakin survived becoming burned beyond recognition. Echo survived getting blown up. There have been crazy survival stories in Star Wars well before Disney bought Lucasfilm.

The flashbacks with Anakin and Obi-Wan sparring with each other was pretty dope, even though Hayden Christensen looks kinda older in his Episode ll prime, but still. Good to see him again. I had alot of TFU vibes with Darth Vader force pulling a ship and ripping it to shreds. It was quite satisfying to watch Reva getting owned by Darth Vader, but I think he should've either snapped her neck or decapitate her the same way he did with Count Dooku. While this episode did had flaws, but It was honestly way better than last weekends episode. I'm so nervous about next week's final episode.

Answering your question: the Stormtroopers are white because they are based in the real Sturmtruppen, a German unit that emerged in the end of World War I and was used in the German army, De Wehrmacht, during all the Second World War. Going back to your point, they wore the color white in the Russian campaign to take Stalingrad in 1941 due to it being winter, confusing themselves in the snow for surprise attacks and ambushes. George Lucas liked the idea of white as a color to represent the troopers and, also, to emphasize the symbolism between the Galactic Empire and The Third Reich. Hope this helps!
Let us not also forget the connection to the "old westerns" where the "good guys" wore white hats. Remember, the Empire were supposed to be perceived by the public as "the GOOD guys".

A) I think what we are seeing is the Sith apprentice training program in action. Reva is being trained to be the Apprentice, and the Grand Inquisitor is being Count Dooku-ed. B) This episode perfectly tells us why Vader so often sees to just stand there and let people escape...we see it is because he has learned not to let his desire for victory blind him to the bigger picture; let you rprey run and it will lead you back to its den.
Obi-Wan leaving his lightsaber reminded me when he said to Han Solo as they were being pulled towards the Death Star: “There are alternatives to fighting.”

Now we are finally getting the Darth Vader. That on unstoppable murder machine, I have wanted to see ever since brief glimpse at end of Rogue One! I am still kinda stunned that Reva is so far only one who has stood twice against Darth Vader, lost twice, gotten light saber hit her / thru her and so far survived.Her will to survive is simply astonishing. Maybe its just me but I see so much potential in her and actress is really great. Her performance for all consuming hatred that burns in her eyes... I love it.
We needed more of this in episodes 3 and 4, it would have helped so much to make those episodes feel more connected. This is how you use flashbacks in a show!

I'm not sure exactly why stormtroopers are white. I would assume because it matches the aesthetic colors of the empire that was originally supposed to mimic the colors of the Nazi's red, black, and of course white.

This episode was sad because Tala sacrificed herself for Obi Wan and I loved the flashbacks of Obi Wan training Anakin in the Jedi Temple.

I'm not sure exactly why stormtroopers are white. I would assume because it matches the aesthetic colors of the empire that was originally supposed to mimic the colors of the Nazi's red, black, and of course white.
