Ah yes, the art of a business write-off
I was going to comment about that lol
Yup, seems like he accidentally made too much money
My thoughts exactly lol
Had just as much fun watching him make a joke about it than he did on vacation! Haha well done mate
i came to these comments to say exactly the same thing!
The sacrifices Ryan goes through to get us some good content. Eating, drinking, dancing and riding a Panigale round Misano in Italy. It's a shtty job but someone has to do it. Thanks Ryan.
Right? I mean, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy!😏
I got some "Jeremy Clarkson going to Australia to see if glovebox works" vibes here
So profound of an impact Top Gear had on automotive press industry. Every decent automotive channels' viewers find a reference to Top Gear in their videos. Kinda like that everything reminds me of her meme.
Get a sponsor to pay for a VIP trip to the Italian MotoGP and only make a 3 minute video out of it, genius Ryan!
More that they've probably set up multiple videos worth of content from a single trip, with a crapload of B-roll footage.
the same three minutes of footage of Mars would cost so much more, and frankly would be boring as hell
That was during Ducati Days this summer at Missano
Does anyone else remember when Fortnine was having trouble getting motorcycles to review because they talked about bikes objectively and certain people didn't like that?
I'm not saying that anything changed, but it is nice to see them getting real recognition. It also probably helps that they're doing more motorcycle education content rather than motorcycle reviews, lol
Yup, they rarely do reviews anymore, and the reviews they're doing are for older, vintage bikes which no one would complain about. Last one they did was the R1300 GS and they do it because the have burned the bridge from the 1250 review anyway
I guess most of the review contents are handled by RevZilla, while educations are handled by F9, since they're the same company, as not to eat each other's jar of cookies
Reviews are all but pointless because 99% of reviewers inject their own opinion into the review. What feels good to Yammie Noob is going to be very different to what Ryan likes, which will be different to what Spite(Spites Corner) likes and so forth. You want a review? Simply go demo a bike.
@@spartanx169x That's mostly seems cause they're different persons. Ryan likes the offroad a lot, doesn't mind cruisin either; whilst the Noob is an on road fast moving guy.
@@rezkyputra5239 f9 belongs to Investissements Novacap Inc and revzilla belongs to Comoto
If I remember correctly, it was Ducati Ryan was asking for a bike when he did his Triumph Advertisement - Which is also well worth a watch.
5 years ago, did you ever think you would be riding that high class of a bike on that circuit?? Your channel has grown so much, congrats.
To be fair, if you’re press/journo, it’s not hard to get into these press events
Eating meatballs with gravy while wearing a pure white shirt...you are a braver man than me Ryan.
... gravy?????
No no man, that is sugo
The 'key' is to be careful.
I feel like weeks or months ago Ryan decided he wanted to go to Italy and then came up with a reason to justify it as a business expense lol. Living the dream my man.
"Motorbikes... something about spaghetti... pasta... curves... I've cracked it!"
We all salute you Ryan and rhe F9 team for giving us the most scientific and accurate information that you need.
What a difficult job you guys have!
Thanks for “working” so hard to sort this out for us. Cheers!
1:00 thank you camera dude.
He only did his job and he did it good❤😂
man of culture, sets the priority right
the end too ;)
1:05 I think you'll find they are both Master Race Bike Engineers.
"Gratciii company card ok?"
"If you want to be more secure, loosen up"
Life lessons 😍😍
Being terminally online has Finally paid off 🎉🎉🎉😂
2:46 YOOO FRANCO!!! he's had a pretty shitty season, but i still believe he's a great rider, and a great personality. his injury and lack of testing definitely did him no favors.....
Glad you had fun making this one.
Awesome! Thanks for sacrificing yourself for us Ryan!
Ryan needs to slow down his work pace. That guy never takes a break.
Oh hell yeah, good saturday when Ryan uploads!
I despise the Misano circuit with a passion... which is why it's my best circuit on ACC
Nice vid
Holy mackerel!
Just when you think: This last video of them guys, was extraordinary- bam!
There comes another one.
Thanks for the great work, you guys!
Your commitment to providing entertainment to the masses, despite the obvious hardship and turmoil, is applaudable.
And this dear rider friends around the world, is why holding the bars with your hands to close together or to tightly causes the bike to be unstable, and is one of the major things that causes tank slappers. Truly great info as always, from fortnine. 😊
This channel is such a beauty.
We really truly appreciate all the money you spend on your business to get us this great content, like eating at restaurants.
There are good lives and then there is Ryan F9!!! What a great video…. Thank you and my goodness stop to take in what you have created!!! Amazing
Stuff you never really think about. Great stuff as always!
I know as a rookie rider, riding across rain groves would scare the crap out of me. The bike seemed to want to drive itself. I would stiffen up and fight the wiggle, which made it worse or at least more pronounced. Later I realized if I just relaxed and allow it to float across it, it was no big deal.
Ryan and crew: you people deserved this. Thanks for all the great content.
A Ryan presentation on location... in eclectic mix of excellent vibes here, Anthony Bourdain on physics, sprinkled in with a bit of Jeremy Clarkson / Richard Hammond levity, albeit more dry and sophisticated. Nice! Keep up the good camera work too. 🤛
our little youtube physicist all growed up and racing homologated bikes around world-class circuits... we all knew this day would come but it happened so soon! *single tear-drop* Now for the inevitable slow downfall. Where's my popcorn?!
The cameraman drifting off killed me :D
Fantastic food; monumental buns.
Great video. New breath of fresh air.
So you were in Italy. Less than 200km from where I live and had no idea! 😭😭😭 Could have offer some steak as we do in Tuscany! Maybe next time, maybe at Mugello? 😊
Thoroughly enjoyed that montage at the beginning
That’s impressive fun content!! Living your life, was fun meeting you at the WDW last summer (the guys from the Bosch stand) 😉
I'm glad my view can help subsidize important research!
I don´t care about the motorcycles much, but I watch all your films for the pure cinematographic delight, because they are really good. Thank you
This may be Ryan's best video of all time.
Funny, when I changed from a chopper to a maxi-scooter, the scoot has all sorts of movement that initially I tried to stiffen up and suppress. The thing wants to rock and roll on its own when the chopper just plowed in a straight line.
Later on my mind and body got used to the scoot and it became my favorite long distance road trip bike ever since. I don't think much of the weaving but it adds to the sense of security because I'm always there to compensate crosswind or road camber with a little bit of counter-lean or steering... even if I'm driving one handed because there's absolutely nothing to control besides the throttle lol.
I guess small wheels? Makes the natural motion of the bike more noticeable.
Very nice production!
Nicely justified summer vacation!
Always a pleasure watching you work !!
I have indeed wondered about that arc racers make between corner exit and entrance. Thanks for the insight! ✌
Outstanding sir! That has to be the best excuse for a "business" trip EVER. Bravo (I doff my cap to you) 🤣
Love this video! Looks like you had alot of fun.
Your videos are always full of ideas and creativity. Thank you for the inspiration!💋🫐🏕
Work , work , work. Keep it up, Ryan. We were there then also and also in Riccione.
this is awesome. thank you ryan and f9.
The curved path between corners is deliberate. Introducing a small turn reduces the bike's ability to wheelie & therefore increases drive. The fastest route between two points isn't always straight...
"If youw ant to be more secure, loosen up" - wise words to live by in all arenas!
Congratulations on 2 mill🎉
"The Little Friend" is a terrific book.
I trulywish I can have the chance to be as much of a madlad as you guys. Breathtaking production.
Did they help avoid the glasses tan?
Keep up the great work! 👍 😎 👍
Reminds me of a certain X6 review.
But a lot more reasonable and informative
I believe Rhett and link coined the term “Edutainment”, I could be wrong about that but regardless, this video is the most accurate example of something that could reasonably be called “Edutainment.” At least, that’s my opinion.
How to tell people that you’re on holiday without telling them you’re on holiday 😎
He's right. Been riding for donkey's years and every now and then I have a wobble or slip in bad weather which makes me tighten up. I don't realize it until late summer when I finally loosen up and trust my tires and riding feels so much easier.
So many have died or been hurt because they didn't understand this.
some part of the conservation angles theory, the rake keeping the bike upright to stay on its axis, when leaning the bike the weight transfer considered not optimum naturally and tire patch were offset to the side hence its tried to correct itself against unnatural position.
Ryan doing all the hard work for the rest of us so we don't have too. Thanks!
Awesome video! I didn't hear anything at :50 or 3:50. Best!
One thing I love about Fortnine and Ryan is how humble they've stayed over all these years of making content & increased exposure and fame.
They're still in that wet tiny little room converted to studio in BC.
Production 10/10
Lovely simply lovely 😊
MISANO ? Good for you, Ryan !! 🤙🤙
Lol soooo did the last video fund this one?? If so my hats off to ya, good hustle!
No idea what was explained, but always love the humour here so go for it
I just love how the Marshall was waving his little yellow flag at the runaway bike as if it was going to stop all on its own. 😂
As always, brilliant man 😂
"Ryan: Boss, I need a fully paid trip to Ducati World Week in Misano.
Boss: What?! What for?
R: I need to shoot a video, and I absolutely need to ride a Panigale in that circuit. This is the cheapest option, believe me.
B: What's this video about?
R: Giroscopic precession, rake angle, trajectory auto-compensation weave... you wouldn't get it.
B: That sounds important. Ok, but this better be real work, and not dancing around and talking to racers!
R: Sure boss! I will have to interview a few racers, though, to get their perspective - they're the real experts.
B: Alright, just make sure you record the sponsor bit.
R: Grazie mille!
B: What?
R: Oh it's just something Rossi taught me."
meatballs + white shirt = brave
1:00 Ryan knows his audience well! 😄
So you drove through Bologna, were i live and, more relevant, where Ducati has his factory. Did you take the chance to visit the factory and the tech museum in it?
finally, a video for the common folk 😂
Mi scusi, I didn't really get the meatball, wine glass, or dessert analogies. Could you please try a masseuse, gondola, and opera analogy? Gratzee.
I understand that there are a bunch of theories about what keeps a bike stable and upright, that being said , some engineers get it right, and some engineers get it really right. Rhymes with yonda
Giving the video a like to support where you guys have come from and to basically ensure this video isnt lost to the algorithms.
Hope you had fun.
- Not Ryan
Dang this dude really likes motorcycles.❤
I know doing all of this wasn't easy ryan, but i'm glad you did it anyways.
Very good video
Guy in red tyin to get that work 2:55
😁sry great vid as per 👍
So, is Donna Tart's The Little Friend comparable to The Secret History? Been thinking about picking it up
I love that I can write off stupid purchases. I never claimed to be good at business. Its not my fault that my waterski rental business went under and all I have to show for it is a kick ass boat.
I like how the Ducati looks like it has an elegant mustache.
The engineering behind the bicycle/motorcycle is genius. It does so much to keep itself upright for you.
You somehow manage to outdo yourself with every single new video.
Loosen up is the biggest tip ive ever been given as a new rider 😊
Ryan, Ryan... you dropped the ball on this one. Your research is incomplete - how would this theory hold up against racing a Kawasaki GTR1400 on the Nurburgring and a KTM 1290 Adventure In Peru? I know, it's hard work, but I'm sure you're willing to sacrifice yourself for us :-))))).
Imperceptible weave? You should ride some classic 50's and 60's bikes.
noooooo, you where in Italy???? it suck that i didn't had a chance to meet you :( maybe at EICMA...?
infatti sono rimasto scioccato quando l'ho visto al WDW
I like how you invited a real MotoGP rider so that he could explain the phenomenon in detail.
Holy 52 views
Instant Ryan F9 classic
My dear fellow went on holiday and found a way to monetise it. Well played.
Living it up like Don King
Taxes lookin sweet 😂
Pls give us your full onboard footage
Imagine Ryan just standing there and so does FM21 in awkward silence after the cut.😂
I took a ST1300 to 140mph, and the weave was anything but imperceptible. Scariest 5 seconds of my entire life
That was probably a wobble, not a weave.
I love the random Franco cameo
