Perfect "How-to!" First 7 minutes will do it all for you! Just 7 minutes! Everything after 7 min is Bonus after Bonus after Bonus! Thank you❗❗ When you start your color grade process, node 1, how do you decide where to place the pointer so the frame you see in the display window is the best of the clip while evaluating the color grade results? The clip with the watch on the table probably doesn't matter as all the frames are similar. But in example 1 with your head on the desk, maybe in 2 seconds you stand up and move to the window. What do you consider when determining which frame to display in the window as you color grade? Or does it matter as long as the camera/lens/settings don't change in the clip?
Thank you a lot, I’m glad you like the video. For me, the scene where I put my head on the table is the main one, so I color graded this scene and when I stand up, exposure changes drastically and I use a hard cut to transition to the next scene. I always color graded the main scenes what I want to show and what I don’t want, I just use a hard cut or any other transition to hide the unwanted.
@@kunlestudio393 Thanks for watching mate. I usually use zebras for exposure but it is between +0.3 and +1.3 it depends what you want to expose. Sometimes I go even +2.0, let’s say you have to expose the person in your shot and there is a bright light like sun for example so M.M. will show +2.0 so you have to blow up the highlights to get a proper exposure of that person and then its very handy to use zebras so you don’t blow up the highlights of that person/subject if you know what I mean 🙂 I have a video about exposing slog 3 if you are interested 😊 👉ua-cam.com/video/sXFoCL7rfGQ/v-deo.htmlsi=1FlJM0albH5NMDC8
