Great Top 10 Vin and especially your Top 3. I have enjoyed them all. There are a few of the ones that did not make the Top 10 that I need to check out. Thanks for the video!
Lots of great selections there and yes, love your #1 recommendation - one of the most visually beautiful films I’ve seen in recent years, and compelling too. I actually just made a video using Wings of Desire as an example for how to find other movies in Criterion (including An American Friend). Hope you enjoyed that one, again a beautiful film
Nice ranking, you’ve made me want to pick up Portrait even more! I wanna grab Dead Man too I think. I’m curious about The Uninvited. I watched My Thelma and Louise Friday night. I really enjoyed it. I made a video for it - will probably be up in a day or two.
Wings of Desire, the two Terry Gilliam films, and Midnight Cowboy are the best of this bunch for me. Dustin Hoffman's Ratso Rizzo character from Midnight Cowboy is among the most indelible performances ever committed to American film; once seen, never forgotten. Thanks for the video and for taking chances on films outside your comfort zone. I bought Baron Munchausen, Time Bandits, Jabberwocky, Three Fantastic Journeys by Karel Zemen, Inland Empire, and Thelma and Louise--- all on blu-ray, as i'm not into 4k. Thanks, enjoy your viewings.
I agree Dustin as Ratso was such a great performance. I still need to watch those Gilliam films. I'm actually watching Wings right now. You got some great pick ups, thanks for watching!
Helllll yeah Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Yeah it's just a simple, beautiful movie if you're into those. Have you seen Paris, Texas? I just watched that one and I'd recommend that one to you. 😁
American Friend gets better with every rewatch. I find it to be an almost perfect film. Super glad you liked Midnight Cowboy. Of course After Hours was a must buy. I have to watch my copy of Portrait of a Lady on Fire still. Great grabs brotha!
American Friend I will give another chance to down the line, I wasn't crazy about it on first viewing. Hope you enjoy Portrait when you get around to it. Watch is after Barry Lyndon lol.
If you like Tootsie have you seen Some Like it Hot by Billy Wilder? Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis dress up as women to escape the mob. Marilyn Monroe also stars.

It's been a great month of first time watches. Thanks for poppin' in, Tony!
Moonstruck is great. Love Thelma & Louise. Nice puckups. Thanks for the recommendations!
Thanks! Hope I was able to recommend a title or 2 that sounded interesting.

Thanks for watching! I did watch Wings, it was admittedly a bit slow for me but I dug the intermittent use of color and the overall story for sure.

Thank you! Yes I am not done buying yet either, lol. Hope you got some good ones.

Nice. Yeah I'm gonna pop in The Uninvited later today I think.

Such a charming movie!
Excellent movie!
You’ll like “Hidden Fortress.”
Cool I hope so.
